Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I have no choice of "accepted in part - rejected in part." I accept the response as to the constant emails after I unsubscribed I reject the response because there was no response to my complaint about the misrepresentation on the business's advertisingThe sex offender registries do not single out pedophilesThat's what's wrong with these registries They are not risk based You can't differentiate a teenager who had sex with his 15-year-old girl friend from a predatory pedophileSo how can Kids Live Safe tell me there are two pedophiles in my neighborhood? As I indicated earlier, there aren't ANY registered sex offenders within a mile of me My complaint is that the business is misrepresenting and/or grossly exaggerating facts to get people to pay for their service And their service is free to the public I want an answer to that Regards, W [redacted] ***

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Your message on my machine really didn't convince me of anything it sounded like a lot of jargon honestly, and of course I don't know what your site is, it wasn't what I was referring to eitheri would really like explained to me and to the Revdex.com why all of this information isn't readily available on one webpage why does it take pages that take at least minutes to get to the end of the what ad wall sign up? installation of adware viruses? it's sure what it looks like btw but really what is the reason for that? Also, my complaint was also about the way it isn't until the end of that adwall" that the customer finds out you will be charging for this service ? why not up front? if you are this trustworthy and accredited business why the deception that only leads to mistrust, and leaving the customer victimized? you now having my email phone number address and full name? sure seems phony the way you have it set upand really a person would have to be awful lazy to need your business I now cater to the rich though right? last question being why did I receive an email alert for an offender in my area inviting me to come see when I do not pay for this service? which I will be happy to forward to anyone who asks of it, why on the email did it not say "this is a paid service"? if you actually want customers i'd try some honestly and clearness in your practice Regards, L [redacted] -email copied in next letter, sorry it won't copy here hmm?

Dear [redacted] , We received your complaint from the Revdex.com and I contacted you to discuss the matter, I left you a voicemail I see that you initiated your account with Kids Live Safe on February 22nd, and we confirmed your membership with a welcome email that reiterates all of your membership terms and conditions; we see in our system that you opened that email We also subsequently sent you many service emails providing you with sex offender data for your area, those emails were opened as well I went ahead and refunded your most recent charge of $for starters Please contact me at ###-###-#### and we will discuss what to do with the other charges to ensure your satisfaction We apologize for any inconvenience here, we purposely make our sign up process and terms of condition so clear to make sure this doesn’t happen Lets get this resolved Sincerely, ***

Dear D [redacted] , We apologize that your experience with our company was not satisfactory As promised by the representative that you spoke with, your $refund has been processed We attempted to contact you on several occasions to make sure that you are completely satisfied but were only able to leave Voicemails Please understand that we have thousands of members using our services to protect and keep their families informed When members sign up they must agree to our very clear terms and conditions about ongoing membership costs of $per month When members “forget” about cancelling their membership, it costs us money to service those accounts and offer our full benefit package Our representatives are trained to make sure that members are completely satisfied but we do ask members to take some accountability when they forget to cancel We apologize if you felt that P [redacted] didn’t handle the call well and his offer of a partial refund ($14.95) was simply part of our refund processWhen you hung up on him and he contacted you back offering the full refund, our protocol is such that he must ask you to confirm that you won’t also attempt to refund the charge with your bank as that would result in a “double refund” So, again, we apologize that your experience was not positive but our representative was simply following protocol and trying to find a reasonable resolution based on your situation We will assume that this issue is resolved but if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach me directly at ###-###-#### Thanks, T [redacted] ***

Dear K [redacted] , I apologize for the frustrating situation that appears to be happening to you regarding emails about our product Per our very good conversation, we have publisher relationships that send out email offers on our behalf By law, these publishers are supposed to include unsubscribe links in all of their emails which enables you to stop receiving emails from them I have gone ahead and blacklisted your email address ( [redacted] @gmail.com) from all of our publishers and typically you will see all emails stop within the next business days As we discussed, please forward me any emails that you have received to [redacted] scalablecommerce.com, as this will enable me to look into who the publisher is that is sending emails And most certainly, send me any emails that you receive after business days as that will help me track down if there is a publisher not following the laws If you have any additional questions feel free to reach me at ###-###-#### Thanks, ***

Dear V [redacted] , I contacted you to discuss your complaint and left you a voice message We have refunded all transactions that were charged to your credit card With that said, our signup process makes it very clear that the $fee is for a day trial and that you must contact our member support department to cancel the membership or you will continue to receive the protection services that we offer and charge you $per month These billing terms are not only very clear in our sign up process but we also follow up with a welcome email that reiterates all of those terms to ensure that there is no customer confusion We see that you opened the welcome email and we also sent you several other monitoring alert emails that highlight new sex offender activity in your area (that’s part of our ongoing protection service) and you opened those emails as wellRegardless, it is clear to us that you were unaware of what you committed yourself to and that is why we refunded you the charges We hope and assume that our resolution here satisfies you and resolves this situation Please contact me at ###-###-#### if you need anything else Thanks much, T [redacted] ***

Dear W [redacted] ***, I won’t document the entire conversation that we just had but I feel better that we are on the same page at this point I have confirmed that we have blacklisted your email from all publishers that are associated with Kids Live Safe; as I explained on our call we don’t send emails ourselves so we rely on publishers to remove your email address when people opt out of their services or in cases like this we also alert them of your desire I explained to you that you should be unsubscribed quickly but that it can take up to days to get you scrubbed and removed from all publishers I gave you my personal email, [email protected] and asked you to send me any emails that you receive from here on out I am confident that this situation will be resolved very quickly Thanks for your patience and please don’t hesitate to reach out further if you need anything elseTom Adams
