Review: [redacted] (formerly Bruno Oil) came to my house to clean my heater on Thur Feb 13, 2014. [redacted] the heater technician informed me that my heater was not able to be cleaned properly because it was old and the one side of the heater would not open. He did state that the filter was changed and a new nozel was put on for an additional $15.00 but he was not going to charge me for a full cleaning of $125.00 but only for a service call of $95.00 (+ $15.00) totaling $110.00. During that evening I was smelling a constant oil smell but thought nothing of it. The following evening I awoke to the same smell and a cloud of smoke in my basement. Immediately a phone call was made to [redacted], the owner of the company... his response was that they would come out on Monday to address the situation. A few minutes later I called him back and told him the smoke and smell in my house was NOT normal and that it needed immediate attention. Aprox an hour later [redacted] (a subcontractor for [redacted]) arrived. [redacted] explained to me that the heater was never cleaned properly and that the previous technician [redacted] never replaced the nozel and the filter EVEN THOUGH I was charged for it. I preceeded to show him that the upstairs walls and ceilings were covered w/ black soot because of [redacted] inadequate knowledge of cleaning a heater. After multiple attempts via ph/c and a visit to the office I was assured that someone from the company (NOT [redacted]) would come back to complete the job. There has been several scheduled times but no one has showed. It is now 44 days w/ NO resolution.Desired Settlement: a full cash refund for inadequate services, cleaning of soiled surfaces and any additional fees that may be accrued.
