The transmission in discussion was originally sold on 10/23/to *** *** After installing the transmission the customer had a problem with it The customer brought his transmission to us, which we fixed the problem described under warranty We then received a phone
call from a person named *** *** stating that after the customer returned home they began having a different problem with their vehicle which they believe to be related to the transmission We asked them to bring the transmission back to us so that we can either attempt to fix the new issue or take it to the transmission shop that we regularly deal with to diagnose and fix any issue that may be with the transmission We offered this service fully under warranty We also offered, if the customer preferred, that he remove the transmission and bring it back for a full refund or replacement The customer became very irate and verbally abusive, threatening us personally Customer stated that he wants a full refund without having to return the transmission to us Our return policy clearly states that the customer must return the part in order to receive a refund At this point, I am still more than willing to issue a refund for the part if it is returned to us I have attached a copy of our Warranty and return policy This policy is printed on the back of the receipt that was given to the customer at the time of sale. Thanks, Brooks M***
