Intentionally mislabeled prices in greenhouse and poor customer service.I went into the nursery today, and selected a plant from a table clearly marked $17. Apparently the table was mislabeled, and they refused to sell me the plant for the posted price. Upon speaking with a manager, he told be he couldn't sell me a $50 plant for $17..what did I want him to do? I said I'd like to know how they would prevent this mispricing from being a recurring problem. He replied "I don't see it as a problem". My companion then questioned his intellect as that is a clear violation of state and federal laws. We were promptly thrown off the property. They have no integrity and care nothing for treating customers well or fairly.Desired SettlementIt would be nice to receive the plant I wanted at the posted price, however I would be satisfied with assurance that the owners will better train employees in both the legalities involved in mispricing products and how to smoothly handle customer service issues.Business Response Beware of this aweful woman! We do our best to clearly show retail prices in the greenhouse. Occassionally, customers will move an item to another table or our staff will accidentally place an item on a table that shows incorrect pricing. Although this rarely happens, when it does 99% of our customers understand the problem and select another item or pay the proper amount. This customer tried to take avantage of us and eventually was told to go elsewhere.
