frames on 1/11/17. She paid one half of the bill by *** on that day $141. and the other half of the bill on 1/23/when we pickup her new glasses for a total of $This included all the costs that were incurred for her glasses. She has no other outstanding debts to Mercy. There was no eye exam on 1/11/17. We have receipts for these payments.We do not know why Mercy is harassing us with these bills?

I appreciate the opportunity to respond regarding concerns of billing/collection practices for clinical services provided to the complainant.Out of respect for the privacy and confidentiality of our patients protected health information (PHI), which may encompass both clinical and financial records,
we have developed an internal system for responding directly to the complainant in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. The complainant may in turn release a copy of our original response directly to the Revdex.com, at their discrection.Please let me know how I can be of further assistance in the resolution of this concern

12/13/2017  Thanks for calling. No, they never got this straightened out and since my last correspondence to Revdex.com in September, we got tired of this and just paid it off. I think they were doing some tricks to get [redacted]. Found out in phone calls to them, they claim my wife, who has high blood pressure, met with an expert on high blood pressure and that is what one of the charges is for. She never met with him. I think they did just enough to allow them to bill [redacted], but, then found out, my wife was not on [redacted]. These tactics are upsetting, but, this matter was upsetting to my wife with her high blood pressure, and it's best we just be done with it, so you can  close the complaint. Thanks though for checking into this.

I am rejecting this response because: There was no response only that they have an internal method of communicating.  I have not received any communication from Mercy.  My problems may have been resolved if there are no more  bills for me on my account but my wife's account has not been resolved.  She paid $141 on [redacted] the day she picked out her frames  January 11, 2017 one half of the total bill and $141 on January 23, 2017 when we picked up our glasses for a total of $282 all on [redacted] and we have the receipts from Mercy for these payments. On August 11, 2017 we were billed $494 more which we do not owe.  When I talked to them they said the January 11, 2017 extra bill $240 was for the adjustment of the glasses frame but the frames were actually adjusted on January 23, 2017. There was no exam on January 11, 2017.  I am still waiting to see if they have removed the $494 extra charges.  This means that they want to charge my wife $776 for her glasses.
