We have been in contact with Mr.  [redacted] to resolve the issue, it is a process of elimination at this point.  We checked and wrapped the chimney to eliminate the possibility that it may be leaking due to the counter flashing or mortar being weathered.  We spoke with...

Mr.  [redacted]  and explained the process of what we were doing, and to keep an eye on it until the next rainfall.  He contacted us again after heavy rains, and let us know it still had an issue.  We have since contacted Mr.  [redacted] about the next step to resolve the issue now that we are aware the chimney isn't leaking.  We have also scheduled an appointment with him to get the matter taken care of, however, weather permitting, as the roofing cannot be pulled apart during the heavy rains we are experiencing currently.  Appointment date:  Monday 2/13/2017  as the weather is clearing.
