I have every email that I had received and your information is incorrect and I will gladly post every email I have saved starting with the firstI received no email in my personal email stating new classes were starting first of all please forward that email here for me to seeThe first email I received was sent days after classes started and it was a warning which does abide by your days policy that you had mentionedI did not see this email until days after it was sentI was told to submit an assignment or post in discussion and I did that but this new advisor (the 5th advisor in less then a year) failed to tell me to submit in each class she only said to submit an assignment and I am sure I screen shot that as wellSo I was active but the new advisor failed to email classes were starting emailed after classes had started and when I asked why she had not informed me she told me she called my old number from months before and sent texts to it and emailed my school emailOkay so she did that but did not think to email my personal email like every advisor before her? That just doesn't sound right considering she thought to email it after classes had already startedIt was not days when I received the warning it was not days of inactivityI was told when I started that I would have an advisor to help me every step of the way and the first few did help me and I came to depend on themI think academic advisors and just as many financial advisors is a little much it and it made my situation unstable after coming to rely on that email to my personal emailI am not going to pay $dollars for a class that I could have taken had the advisor followed the same protocol as advisors before herIt was very reasonable for me to think I had no classes for summer semester when I did not receive an emailBryant & Stratton consider summer semester spring semester which I also did not knowI will not take responsibility for a class I was unaware of and policy was not followedI will post my proof in another reply as soon as possibleI had someone call my current phone number and try to say I must be confused by my mistakeI stopped listening right then because I realized they were not calling me to work it out they were calling me to convince me it was my mistake and it was notYou advertise a friendly advisor to help a student through the school year but you fail to mention how many advisors due to the turn over rate one of you advisors happened to tell me aboutMy financial situation is mess due to this and I tried to come up with a solution by myself I even went through school policy to find out about a one time TAP waiver but I was denied any assistance from my "advisor"I got in touch with TAP provider let them know what the policy said and told them my GPA of and my credits from prior semesters which qualified me and I screen shot that in my banner alsoThey sid it sounded like I was eligible but the school had to do it and when I asked my advisor again he said it is too late to get TAP there is nothing you can do you do not qualify for financial assistanceSo I am supposed to attend fall semester here but they will take the extra loan money I needed to take out so I could attend my classes to cover this class I am not responsible forSo my options are to not attend at all I guess and take the chance that my educational future has been taken from meI will get those documents ready to share now and be back to post again

Bryant & Stratton College adheres strictly to all federal and state regulations with regard to financial aid funds received and assuring that students are attending school to be eligible to receive the fundsAt Online Education we must assure two things: 1. Students must have an Academically Related Activity (ARA) in each of their classes to be eligible for financial aid (federal and state)There are sessions to each semester and each has their own Census Period2. Once students have registered ARA in the classroom they must also adhere to the attendance policyStudents will be withdrawn if they do not have ARA in their classes for more than daysThis happens when students do not attend all of their classesWith that said, *** *** was withdrawn because she never had an ARA into of her Session courses (Census Violation)There were courses in this sessionShe was in attendance and had ARA in the second courseUnder what I described above in #1, she was withdrawn after days of not attending during the Census period in her MRCDiagnostic Coding course. Therefore she was not entitled to federal or state financial aid for that class and became a part-time student (3/time) in the eyes of the federal and state regulatorsThis financial aid adjustment caused her to have a balance of $When *** *** was signing into our Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard both of her classes were visible but she chose to only attend classThere are documents of daily emails and notices from faculty to her to get into this MRCclass. She did not respond to us and did attendAgain, under strict regulations our Financial Aid Department was forced to withdraw herAs the Dean of Student Services, I would like to work with Ms*** and our Financial Aid Department to rectify this situation and move onI have made numerous attempts to contact her by telephone, I have left numerous voice messages and have followed up with an email for each attemptShe has not returned my callsShe has emailed me in response a few times that she is contacting the Revdex.comIn closing, it is very important that *** *** contacts me to arrange a meeting with me and a member of our Financial Aid Department. We will continue to attempt to reach herIt is unclear why she will not respond to us at this pointChristine ** *** Dean of Student Services Bryant & Stratton College Online Education *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ***

I forward this to the financial aid department when I received this and I am waiting for the status

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11890440, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When I started at Bryant Stratton I requested to take more classes in each semester and was told that wasnt possible and in the next 2 semesters I was assigned only 2 classes per semester. Then when I filed bthis complaint they offer me to take up to 5 courses per semester. I feel cheated and used for my money and my shooling was dragged out as long as possible to charge me more. I dont feel I learned anything and at the current pace I wait until saturday and do all my weekly assignments in a few hours this isnt even close to full time.  Im now willing to forfit all my credits in return of all my financial aid of course excluding the refunds I recieved. I was offered the above option they posted I was considering it but upon talking to my aid advisor being in the associates program raises tuition to around 8000 per semester this school has taught me very little and is only out for the money. Regards,[redacted]

the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have not spoken to anyone from the school about this matter since I have filed this complaint. Nobody has spoken to me. This is a lie and adds to the complete unprofessional manner of this school. This "resolution" is appalling and can not even be considered a resolution.

I am writing to address the complaint filed by our former student. Bryant & Stratton College has been educating students since 1854 and takes great pride in the personalized service we provide our students. The College takes complaints of this nature very seriously and has addressed this...

student’s concerns below. In her complaint, the student asserted she withdrew during her first 60 days of enrollment. Based on the NYS tuition refund calculation policy, the full amount of tuition charged was earned by the College, leaving the student with a balance. The student was unhappy because the College would not release her transcripts to her because she had this balance. The campus was able to reach out to the student and offer to provide her with copies of both her HS transcripts and her Bryant & Stratton College transcripts. They further explained to the student that the balance she had with the college was not in collections and had been written off in early 2016. The student was satisfied with the resolution.

Per the Bryant & Stratton College Financial Aid Department the complaint/issue for [redacted] has been resolved.  The parents of [redacted] are satisfied with the resolution. Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The campus director at the [redacted] Campus [redacted] responded
to my complaint. He answered none of the posing issues that I outlined in my
complaint. He jumped right into issues that could make me look bad. I went to
[redacted] PAL for an internship by the suggestion of [redacted] who was my career service
director. She knew that I would be working with at risk youth and doing Holiday
Lights in the Park because I needed hours. She agreed. One day before I was supposed
to start she denied my internship. I was told numerous times by numerous
different people I would not be graduating. I was a great student up until this
and never had any serious problems.
            After I
went there to transfer I was so upset I just stopped attending. I called the
week that classes ended to see where my bookstore money was. Bryant and
Stratton owes me $236.68 from my left over bookstore money. I was told that my withdrawal
paper work was sent through then I was told I was dismissed for my attenedance.
So I apparently got kicked out without any notice. Within the time I was absent
no one ever tried to contact me or see if I was coming back let along knowing
that I was going to be dismissed. I never received a letter or a notice about
being dismissed which makes no sense.
            I have
three documents pertaining to the money that the college has received. One is a
financial aid letter which I was giving when signing up for the fall semester.
The paper breaks down as follows Tuition: 8,430
Subsidized Loan: 2,226 Unsubsidized Loan: 1,979 then an Additional Unsubsidized
loan for 624. My Grants: PELL 2,240 TAP 2,031. We paid 130.00 in cash.
We have a paper off my account information off the Bryant and
Stratton College student success page: Account Summary by Term which states: I paid $563.32 for books, paid them $130, owe them a
graduation fee of $100 then it states they took $673 from my Subsidized loan
they took zero dollars from my unsubsidized loan and they took 2,244 from TAP.
Leaving me with a term balance of $3,806.32
 The last document I have
is an award package that I also got off of the Bryant and Stratton student
success page: States they took $680 from my subsidized
loan, zero from my unsubsidized loan, took 2,244 from TAP and stating that we
paid them $230.
            I have been
in contact with my bank on October the college should have disbursed 1,620 the
bank is showing zero. The bank has a graduation date of Dec 22nd
2014. On Nov 19th 2014 one day before they dismissed me the college
confirmed my graduation date with the bank for Dec 22nd 2014. The
school never once told the bank I was dismissed and I am in a grace period on
my loan.
            The school
has played with my loan money they either took all my loan money, or they took
$673 of my loan money or they took $680 of my loan money. I have done the math
countless times and the balance they are saying I owe makes no sense with the
money they received. I have talked to my bank and they have no idea what is
going on. I want my money situation fixed I want my bookstore money and I want
my transcripts. My life is on hold due to this. I can get my transcripts after
I pay my balance and they will not be receiving any more of my money. They have
caused a mess with my loans and I would really like this to be resolved.
