I, **. [redacted], president and owner of Bryce Construction hereby, totally reject the accusation leveled against my company by one **. [redacted] as false and garbage.
For the record, I have known [redacted] for about 4 years. She had been an old...

acquaintance of mine thru a friend **. [redacted]. We had a contract with **. [redacted] to convert a 15ft by 80 ft space in to a restaurant and a bar as per blue print. Our contract with **. [redacted] for this project, as per drawing was $24,000. And the duration for this project was for 8 weeks. Apart for the down payment of $3000, we have to stop work for minimum of two weeks each in order to get paid after invoicing. We had received three additional payments as followed $3000, $3000, and $1000.
Since no bank or institution financing this project, I have to bend over backward so as to work with her. Because of her long time acquaintance with me. I proceeded with the project despite lack of payment. The final straw came in the month of February when we invoiced for $4800 but we only got $1000.
She promised for pay the rest within one week, but she never came thru. We worked for another 3 weeks and still no pay.
With the project 90 % completion (have pictures), I had no choice but to stop work due to lack of payment.
The contract was for $24,000 and it is 90% completed, but we only received $10,000.
The Maths does not add up. Last week, 02/26/2014 around 12.45pm I called police before we could remove our tools and equipment from the store. In **. [redacted]'s complain to you, she state that "the contractor removed all his equipment and abandoned the project..." If this is true then why do we have to use the police to remove our tools and equipment from the job site?
Presently, **. [redacted] owes us $6,800 and if she does not pay this money in 10 days, we will use all the legal means necessary to collect our money.
Sincerely,

The Maths does not add up. Last week, 02/26/2014 around 12.45pm I called police before we could remove our tools and equipment from the store. In **.
