Incomplete work. Shoddy work. Unprofessional
work.
The work began in June 2017. Was not completed until late August 2017. The finished work is not acceptable. The shower does not drain as it should. Water stands in the shower. Shower head is so high that I am unable to reach it. Shower also leaks out onto the floor. There is no caulking done on new baseboards. It looks and is unfinished. Bathroom door will not close. They wanted payment immediately before I had a chance to look over or use the bathroom that they called finished. Their workers left with my new heavy duty exterior extension and my new yard sprayer which was for spraying weeds.
I want the shower to be finished to where it drains properly. I paid an extra $500 for a new shower drain that does drain. Caulk all unfinished work done. Bathroom door will not close. A day or 2 working would finished the work that I am satisfied with.
The customer did not metion that there was a 45 day warrenty on the job after completion. All communation was after the 45 days. Not to mention she used ugly language. It took weeks for her to make any decisions on the tile etc. We offered to come out and address the proplem and she got really ugly about it. As for the cord and sprayer, the cord was returned and the spayer was there when we left the property. I have the signed contract and the receipt of sevices.

Where to begin? After working on my bathroom less than 1 week , they insisted that I should pay them
$4800 which was not in the contract. I paid them the money and did not see them again for weeks. They used the money to pay for work on other jobs. Then they began work again on my bathroom. Things had gotten very testy on both sides. I apologized to her for my part of the exchanges, which did not feel were ugly.
I have retained all of our e-mails. She says that I took weeks to pick out tile, not so. I needed help from them so that the kind of tile and cost met their approval. Here is a list of problems that have not been addressed.
1. I paid an extra $500 for the shower drain that does not drain. I have talked to a contractor about him repairing the drain. The price that was quoted $1000. I had paid for this drain work already. I should not be expected to pay again.
2. Grouting left unfinished.
3. I had to repair plumbing under sink. It was not even connected.
4. No caulking was done.
5. New bathroom door will not close.
6. New knobs on new louvered doors placed incorrectly.
7. Sinks faucets have cold water on left with not water on the right. It is standard for hot to be on the left and cold to the right.
8. I had a new one hundred foot heavy duty extension cord that was taken by their workers. She left a old worn out extension cord in my garage that is not 100 ft. Not close to being acceptable.
No quality at all.
9. Shower head installed so high that I am unable to reach it. I cannot use the hand held shower head at all. I cannot reach high enough to turn it on or off.
I have sent e-mails to them asking for the problems to be taken care with no success.
She says in her reply that I had 45 day warranty, which is true. She does not say that I was in contact with them long before the 45 days had lapsed. Then she says that as a contractor she has the right to cancel the 45 day warranty, she said it was canceled. She states in her reply that they did not hear from me until warranty expired.
I did not have time to inspect shower and other problems before they were paid in full. They took my check and were out the door very fast.
The quality of their work was shoddy and unprofessional.
