Substandard, shoddy, unsafe walk-in shower installation as subcontractor for Kitchen and Bath Shop, [redacted].- Failure to read and comply with manufacturer's instructions for product installation.- Unnecessary destruction of finished interior walls.- Undue haste to complete work in one day.- No caulking applied where required to seal joints and prevent leaks.- Essential seals & parts for shower doors not installed and apparently discarded.- Towel bars not properly secured - fell apart when lifted.- No owner's manuals or accessories left for homeowners, as directed.- Destruction of sub-floor and wood framing for unnecessary enlargement of drain opening.- Grab bar not level, and not secured to wall framing at one end. Screw covers fell out of both ends.- Shower plumbing relocated to back of shower surround instead of inside finished wall. Result: stop tube of shower control projects 1 3/8" beyond escutcheon, making control handle stick out too far.- Fixed shower head installed only 5' 1" above shower floor. - Destruction of floor tile and baseboards without replacement. - Water, sawdust, wood scraps left on cellar floor.- Shower doors not hung vertically, misaligned with frames.- No bumpers installed for doors.
