I called B's Company to come out and repair part of my roof damaged by storms this winter. They came out very quickly to as the damage. I was amazed how quickly they were able to complete the repairs. Dealing with roofers in the past the response has always been lackluster. They did a wonderful job and also power washed my house the same day. I highly recommend B's Company to anyone looking to have home repairs done. This was the best experience I have ever had dealing with contractors.
Review: On September 3rd, 2013, Mr Ellis was hired to fix water from entering home. He claimed to apply fibered coating that was to solve the problem. His work was guaranteed for 5 years. On March 2014 snow began to melt and water started coming in through the ceilings on my second and third floor. When I called he said he would be out right away. It took several voice messages and me calling from another phone to get in contact for him to come fix the problem. He did finally come out and supposedly fixed the problem, however with heavy rain it started coming back in through the same manner. Once again I tried fruitlessly to reach him in order to honor his guarantee, however he has not returned any calls nor tried to contract me in anyway to fix the problem.
I have paid out twice $1,450 and $350. for work that was not honored by warranty and fixed.Desired Settlement: If he cannot repair the work he claimed he could resolve with no problem, then I feel he needs to give me a refund.
Review: On May 2nd,2014, I entered a contract with B's Company which included the following:
1.Prep and paint as needed throughout entire house.
2.Install tile floor.
3.Install new chandeliers in living room and dining-room.
4.Clean and seal tile in entrance way.
5.Maintenance and paint cabinets.
6.Maintenance tile in master bathroom.
7.Finish deck on upper including stain and seal.
8.Maintenance living room fire place.
9.Clean and maintenance as discussed.
10.Pressure wash garage.
11.Paint as discussed.
The price of the work was $5,000.00. B's Company required $2,500. up front to begin the work and remaining balance due on completion.
On May 17th an additional contract was enteredfor additional work which included :
1.Raise floor in sun room,
2.Remove sliding doors in kitchen and install new sliding doors in sun room.
3.Install tile floor in sun room level with kitchen.
4.Remove 2 windows in sunroom and install them on back porch.
5.Frame porch in.
6.Install windows and doors.
7.Install tile floor on porch.
8.Sheet walls and stucco.
9.Paint as needed
10.Add crown molding as needed.
The additional work was another $5,000.00, which required an additional $2,500 by Don Ellis, B's technician. The total amount of work that was to be done ended up over $10,000. This does not include the materials I supplied and had delivered needed to perform the work. Incorporated in the contract was all work would be completed in 1 month, to my satisfaction, as well as guaranteed.
After a few weeks I visited the home, only to find rooms tattered with no real work started. I tried to reach Mr. Ellis about the situation. After several attempts of calling throughout the weeks, I ended up having to seek an attorney which I am bringing charges for damages and breach of contract.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund to cover all money I put up for the work, supplies, and new materials I am having to replace that I had purchased, which was damaged by this contractors crew. I also want to see that others are not fooled by his company using the Revdex.com as being a good company. I want his company investigated and removed before anymore harm is done to innocent people.
This is in response to Dr. [redacted]. After making contracts with this client it became impossible to work for him. Dr. [redacted] came to the job site almost everyday adding more and changing work such as having four employees working on jet tub system not on contract, and painting bedrooms not on contract. Dr. [redacted] did not supply efficient materials for work on contract. Dr. [redacted] did not pay as discussed, breaching contract for reasons stated above. We have documentation of all work we completed with materials provided. We contacted the Revdex.com about this customer and explained the situation before Dr. [redacted] made a complaint. We were still working on this house when Dr. [redacted] told us we were no longer aloud on the premises.
