RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.In regards to the response from B [redacted] Sharp all we asked for was for him to fulfill the contract he wrote and signed which he did not. The kitchen was part of the contract along with a new furnace and the fixtures which we paid for and have the cancelled check to prove that we did. We never asked for anything for free or for extras just for him to do what he promised in the contract and he has not completed the contract as the house still is not done. He never told us that there were any extras that we were not paying for. In fact B [redacted] Sharp is the one who kept telling us that he needed more money or the job would come to a stop if he didn't keep getting money to keep the project going so we kept giving him money to get the job done and 5 months later the job still wasn't done and he walked off the job and stopped returning our calls and texts. My husband has months of unanswered texts sent to B [redacted] Sharp. He never put in the support beams in the basement that the architect plans called for. He did not seal the shower upstairs, or finish the stairs or put up a railing. Along with numerous other things that are not done in this house. As far as the subcontractor go B [redacted] Sharp did not pay the plumber the money we paid to him for the plumber and that is why the plumber will not come back and finish the plumbing for our kitchen that we need for the final inspection because he never got paid from B [redacted] Sharp. I also asked in my original complaint for a copy of the contract and the invoices that I need for insurance and I still have not gotten them. Regards, [redacted] And [redacted] ***

Revdex.com spoke to B** at business and the following was relayed:I have been unable to find the contract to provide a copy forI can provide an invoice that they can provide their insuranceThe budget for the job was $60,The consumer kept $10,of this to finish the parts for the job that needed to be finished.Revdex.com is requesting any documentation consumer can provide, including any bills they paid

We have received a complaint on 1/16/from *** *** regarding an upstairs addition we did at *** *** ** *** **They stated that we just walked off the j** and not fulfilling our contract, not paying our sub contractors so they could not finish their job eitherAs you know in this
business you have to take the good with the bad just like in this case, we completed our contract as well as paid all subs for the jobMr*** wanted some other work done such as new kitchen and floors and downstairs bathroomWe agreed to help out the best we could due to an extremely tight budget they hadWe put a lot of free labor in for them and even paid sub contractors out of our pocket for extras Being doneHowever as these extras progressed they were never happy always wanting more free stuff, new furnace, fixtures, labor, etcIt got to a point where we were trying to talk to them and make reason with them*** were not cooperating and refused to listen*** would not let us go any further until he had all he wanted and on his termsWe as a company had other commitments to uphold as well as knowing this *** job was a dead end, had to leaveWe knew our contract was fulfilled and we did the best we could to help them out so we went on to complete our other contracts
