Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They gave B.B.B information, I have some voice mails from them that proofs I've taken the Toyota in more than timesPlus I have a witness that was there when they told me I had 20,miles warranty through them, the same witness dropped me off times himselfAnd my wife times to pick up the truck from them .They never paid to have my Toyota towedI have paper work from [redacted] when I rented a trailer and had my witness tow my ToyotaMy witness is the person that referred me to them, and a friend of mine and the mechanic and the owner of BST.As well as as a current customerAll I want is to have what I paid for,a working ToyotaWhen I asked BST how much to fix my truck, they said $I kept my part of the contract and paid them the full amountNow I expect them to keep their part of the contract and fix my truckSincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:How can it be a common business practice to charge a customer a certain price to fix something, then return it in same condition, then ask for more money to do the same thing over againI call that a common ripoff practice And as for the so called options that BST has provided me,that are so called fair, how is it fair to charge me again to fix the same thing I just paid them to fix.I paid BST KUSTOMS to replace my engine, they gave me 20,miles warranty and I have a witnessI do not understand why BST does not want to honor their warrantyI've called the engine builder, *** *** *** They gave me a claim #***-*,and told me they would compensate BST for the labor of switching engines. This customer has already made these complaints to us.  The motor was determined bad by two mechanical tests, both a leak down test and a compression test.  The customer agreed to have the engine replaced so a crate engine was ordered and installed.  The engine manufacturer...

offers up to a 7 year warranty and is not provided by BST Kustoms.  We do not offer a 20,000 mile warranty and the customer cannot provide anything saying that we offer such a warranty.  The engine was not built by BST Kustoms it was only installed as a stock replacement.  We could not scan the computer due to poor work prior to BST and instructed the customer to go to toyota to see if they can provide the clean bill of health required for the engine manufacturer.  The customer chose to take the truck to multiple other locations and to my knowledge even performed the first oil change himself.  The truck has not been back six times we have record of twice.  Once was to clean the valve cover based upon the manufacturers recomendations and the second when cleaning did not work BST Kustoms paid for the truck to be towed to our shop and installed a new valve cover (manufacturer recomendations) and did not charge labor for doing so (only the cost of the valve cover).  The customer has a warranty through the engine manufacturer and was given paperwork and instructions for the manufacturers warranty.  To my knowledge the customer has not fulfilled his obligations to the manufacturer to get his warranty.We are willing to work with the customer and have told him the following:If the problem is due to the installation only for the engine BST will repair at no cost.if the problem is due to the engine manufacturer BST will work with the manufacturer and operate only with the manufacturers recommendations for repairs at the cost of the manufacturer.If the problem is determined fault of the customer or work performed by other shops and is not covered by the engine manufacturers warranty then the customer will be responsible for the cost of the repairs.We are aware that the motor built by the manufacturer is burning oil, this is internal to the motor and needs to be looked at.  The customer was told to bring it back for the third time and has not done so, nor has the customer provided the paperwork for his manufacturers warranty.  BST Kustoms does not offer a 20,000 mile warranty for a product we did not build.  We are willing to work with the customer but cannot do so if the customer does not bring the truck to us and does not provide documentation of his manufacturers warranty.  The Customer must provide proof of warranty from the manufacturer as instructed,

BST kustoms response remains the same. The customer may reject and we are willing to perform work based on our original statement only. This is common business practice the options provided are more than fair.

Plus I have a witness that was there when they told me I had 20,000 miles warranty through them, the same witness dropped me off 4 times himself. And my wife 2 times to pick up the truck from them .They never paid to have my Toyota  towed. I have paper work from [redacted] when I rented a trailer and had my witness tow my Toyota. My witness is the person that referred me to them, and a friend of mine and the mechanic and the owner of BST.As well as as a current customer. All I want is to have what I paid for,a working Toyota. When I asked BST how  much to fix my truck, they said  $6500. I kept my part of the contract and paid them the full amount.
