Review: in the early part of March 2013, we received a call from [redacted], agent for [redacted]), asking if we were interested in selling the timeshare we have with [redacted]. On March 15, 2013, my husband, [redacted], received a resale proposal via email from [redacted], signed by [redacted], which he signed and remitted. Then on March 18, 2013, he signed and remitted via email the Resale Contract with [redacted]. On March 25, 2013, [redacted] received via email an Escrow Agreement for Transfer of Timeshare Property from [redacted], Senior Escrow Officer with BTLC Management & Sons (BTLC) out of Philadelphia, PA. This document was also signed by [redacted] and remitted. At the direction of [redacted], BTLC, over the period from 4/1/13 to 5/7/13 we sent four wires of varying amounts totaling $8,891.09 to the following: Beneficiary: [redacted] S.A. DE C.V... Beneficiary account number: [redacted]...Beneficiary's address: [redacted] MEXICO, CP [redacted]...ATTENTION: [redacted] REMITTERS-[redacted]. These wired funds represented escrow fees, insurance, fees, Mexican capital gains and Mexican Non-Resident Income Taxes. [redacted] was in constant contact with [redacted] via phone and email checking on the status of the sale. We were told the last wire sent on 5/7/13 would be the last of the funds required for the sale. On 6/12/13, [redacted] was told by BTLC we needed to wire $3,500.00 to Mexico for the sale. On 6/17/13 [redacted] spoke to [redacted], and advised we were cancelling the contract for sale of the timeshare. She stated a refund ck would come in 2-8 mos. A few days later the websites for BTLC Mgmt & Sons and for [redacted] were gone-all phone numbers were called and just rang or were disconnected. No refund ck has come.Desired Settlement: Of course we would want a refund, but want to put in our complaint on this company. We have also filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on [redacted].
