Mr*** was not completely honest in what he wrote "stating that we did not reply to his emails" That is simply not true, if you were to ask him again, he may change his story
He asked to return a pump that he ordered; we gave him
instructions on how to get the pump back to us along with details of the restock charge that would be implementedI'm not sure if he did not see it or did not feel that it applied to him
Once we go the pump back (it was damaged) we proceeded with the refund as stated in the original email
A few days later we get this threatening email stating that "I have contacted my credit card issuer and notified themI am also going to explain my bad experience with my friends on Facebook then do a Tweet on Twitter and online review sites as well"Honestly his email caught me by surprise since the details were clearly given before he returned the pump
To avoid any other issues with Mr*** we have decided to give him what he wants which is $The refund was given yesterday

Our response to this has not changedI think the attached photo's may help understand why the manufacturer will not warranty the pump. I have tried to explain to you the best that I know how as to what made your pump failI believe the pictures you sent with the White Calcification even
describes better what happenedThe manufacturer who manufactures this pump will not warranty this; this is not an internal defect.Here is the last email that was sent to youIt is all I can offer you. The pump seal was compromised by water that was “out of balance” the white calcified residue confirms itIf it would have just leaked without the residue there would have been no issue, but as it is, the pump did not fail from a manufacturers defectSo no this will not be covered under warrantyI can get you a new shaft seal to repair it if you’d like

Hello Mr *** If you are going to file a complaint please file it using real facts You just claimed three things that are untrue 1. You received a pump that was advertised incorrectly2. And after several text/emails you
were not able to reach anybody3. We don’t have the pump needed The real facts are is that the pump you ordered and received was exactly what you ordered. We did not send you the wrong pump or something different then what was orderedThis was confirmed after you emailed a picture of the pump you neededIt was clear after seeing the picture that you ordered incorrectlyAlthough we may have not spoken on the phone we did communicate different times via email discussing the incorrect pump you ordered and how to send it back for a correct replacementI gave you the RMA to return the pump and also included our return policy which states the details below: --All qualified returns will incur a re-stock charge, unless a mistake was made by SpaCare.com or the part ordered was incorrect and the intent is to order the correct part25% for returned pumps, motors, control boxes and heater assembliesAll other parts are 20%When the pump was received I emailed you asking if you wanted to order the correct pump or would you prefer a refund? You said you wanted a refundBecause of this a re-stock charge was appliedThis was to cover the true shipping cost that we paid UPS to you get you the pump originallyYou paid $shipping and what we incurred was $Although we did not step out of any ethical boundaries and were truthful with you from beginning to end, I believe you were not and gave information to the Revdex.com to retrieve fundsWhat I will do is have the difference refunded back to your card that will only reflect $(Shipping cost incurred to our company from UPS to ship the pump)The amount you will see is $which is being posted right now

I am rejecting this response because: I still deny his alleging that we covered up something with paint If that was the case all of the scratches would have been painted I want to make this clear to the owner that I did not LIE we didn't install the unit nor did I cover it up with paint Evidently they do re-sell items because this one was scratched and had been painted and sent to me or was done upon his receiving the unit so it could be sold again. I was really upset over this and feel like my money is just as good as his..this item could be sold...this type of business practice just supports his policy...if it doesn't look damaged enough..damage it so the company gets to keep equipment to resell and 1/my money.All I was left out of this deal is a bad taste in my mouth over being treated less than a customer.

I still have not been given a reason why that 2 other pumps have been working for more that 14 years with no leaks and this one failed after 10 months. This pump has a 1 year guarantee. All three pumps are in the same water. SO EXPLAIN THAT.

The circuit board was returned to us and right away we could see it was intalled. The attached picture shows the scarring of the mounting screws around each hole of all the fingers.We returned the circuit board to Mr. [redacted] with the note below. Mr. [redacted] continues to claim that he did not...

install the board. We have decided to move on and refund his money. We will do this once the circuit board arrives at our location. It is currently in transit. The circuit board you returned was installed and cannot be returned. Our return policy reads that we do not take installed circuit board back, we don’t sell used or refurbished items to any of our customersThe scarring of the fingers by each screw confirms itWe will be returning the circuit board today.https://spacare.com/ReturnPolicy.aspx

I have read the entire complaint and fill like this customer was treated fairly. Mrs. [redacted] asked if the item that was ordered could be returned because what she ordered was incorrect. I asked “Was it in installed” she replied with “No nothing was done” The return was received and the statement...

below was sent to her after receiving it. I sent Mrs. [redacted] pictures of what I described below, showing her what we were seeing. Mrs. [redacted] agreed to take a 50% refund which was done on February 10th. We still have what she ordered here, due to the fact that it cannot be sold as a new item. If she would like it back we would be glad to send it to her and give her here money back The return control box was received today This box is not in new condition. There are scratches all over the bottom of the box and someone used black paint to try and cover up a nick/scratch on the front of the box. The manual has dirt or coffee all over it. The return agreement is that it would be returned in sellable condition. Unfortunately this cannot be sold to anyone as new and we do not sell used or refurbished items We can offer you 50% ($232.50) or return it to you. Please let me know which options you would like
