Infinity replaced our roof in they started in May and finally completed and did the walk through in JulyWe noticed drywall pieces in the window sill a couple of months ago and more and more was falling when looking behind the blinds the top of the window drywall is falling down, the window in pushing away from the house and the window sill in also moving from the wallWe called our insurance company as we did the roof claim last year the adjuster came out and checked the area for water and determined the water was coming from the roof where there is a gap in the flashing from the installWe contacted Infinity and have left numerous messages was only able to talk to a person time who said they would have someone out, no one has contacted us to set that up and again is not returning our callsWe have water coming in the house every time it rains and need this fixed before we have a mold problemPlease assist
We had our roof replaced after the November storm and chose Infinity RoofingOur insurance adjuster met with a rep from Infinity on June 14, Our roof was not competed until the middle of AugustI have no idea when Infinity sent the final bill to our insurance company but the second check from them was dated September and we received it October The check was made out to my husband and myselfHe was out of townHe got home on the 10th and I had him sign but didn't get it mailed right thenWe received a demand letter from Infinity dated October with a Spokane return address, postal stamped October from Houston, TX, and received it October The letter stated if not paid by the 17th, Monday, they would file a mechanics lien That was the first day I could've even mailed the money
The rep's wife called on the 17th When I had initially met with her she said to hold the initial check and mail them all together when I received that final check I told her the time sequence and that I was mailing the checksShe said she would contact the corporate office and tell themHowever, I received a voicemail from the corporate office today, the 21st, and was told they would release the lien but would take around daysI do not know what Infinity's delay was in billing the final amount to our insurance company was, but that was not our faultIn the voicemail she said it was their protocol This is so unfair and wrong that they have the power to mess with someone's credit when their lack of promptly billing caused it
In November our roof received extensive damage from the windstorm that swept thru the areaThe next day we contacted our insurance agent at her office for guidance on roofing contractors in the area and were referred to Fred Yat Infinity RoofingThat morning we called Infinity for a free inspection and estimate to repair the roof and arranged a time that very afternoonFred himself came that very day and performed a very thorough inspection of our roof, then explained in detail Infinity’s part of the claims process, as well as offering sound advice & support in the claim against our homeowners insuranceWe received the detailed estimate of damage and a quote for cost to repair from Fred in writing in less than a weeks’ time
In comparison of the roofing contractors in the area I called requesting an inspection and quote to repair, six of which did not show up at the arranged appointment time thereby disqualifying themselvesThree of the remaining nine tried to inspect and quote the damage from the ground without even going up on the roof thereby disqualifying themselves from further considerationSo in total I had six estimates in hand to submit to our insurance company of those I threw out the highest and lowest estimates and submitted
When the third party claims adjuster came out to inspect the roof sent by the insurance company Infinity sent someone to meet with him and myself up on the roof peakThe claims adjuster in his report back to the insurance company recommending to replace less than 1/3rd of our roof which was a TOTAL lossThis is where my education began it took from November until March to settle the claim with our insurance company and that whole time Fred Yand Infinity Roofing supported me and educated me in our damage claim even going so far as to meeting the claims adjuster once again on our roof marking each and every shingle that was damaged, or loose
The Insurance Company even sent out their own “ringer” roofing contractor to bid the job who under bid Infinity RoofingFred and his crew took the job despite the Insurance settlement being less than appropriate especially considering all the time and effort just to get the claim to the settlement phase of negotiations
In March 100% of our roof torn off and replaced in full using high quality materials, the workmanship was incredibly fast with great attention to detail down to picking up every bit of debris left from the job afterwardsWhen the Infinity crew left I couldn’t tell they were even there with the exception of a brand new roof on our homeFolks I can say with absolute confidence and sincerity that it is only because of Fred Yand Infinity Roofing that we were able to get a just and fair settlement from our insurance company including a total roof replacement using structural shingles instead of the three tab that were there priorI am so confident in Fred and Infinity Roofing that I am including my full name and telephone number so that anyone considering a roofing contractor in the area may call me with questions about my experience with Fred Yand Infinity Roofing.*** *** *** *** ***
