We checked our INCIDENT REPORTS FILES and we do not have any incidents recorded for October 3rd of This is the first time we have been notified of this alleged incident. We need the following information from the paid receipt to investigate this claim:LICENSE PLATE, Date & Time stamp on receipt, and the CTN NUMBER (top right hand of the receipt).Below is our response to this claim:Once the vehicle leaves the premises we rely on Video surveillance to determine if and when there was any damage caused by our employees or facility Once the vehicle leaves the premises, we assume NO responsibility, beyond what we can determine by Video Our video server records for days Once the days is past and we cannot locate video files for that day, we cannot assume any liability for any kind of claim.Customer has two "Possible outcomes" of how the scratches could have occurred The first one is highly unlikely as our employees do not carry anything Sharp, only but plastic tools (spray bottles, hoses, etc), and towels If any employee was carrying sharp objects and accidently scratched a vehicle, they would notify their supervisor, and the supervisor would notify the manager on duty of such event The second outcome has not happened since we have been opened for business, and if it did happen it would be noticed right away by our crew as VERY loud noises would be heard from our tunnel Also if it was caused by the tunnel brushes, every car would have similar damage, not just Mr***'s Corolla A machine cannot discriminate which cars it damages and which ones it does not.We ask why did Mr [redacted] take such a long time to report this alleged incident We also like to point out that it is not uncommon for these types of damages to be PRE-existing We cannot determine if scratches or dents were pre-existing since the vehicles enter the car wash in a soiled state thus, covering any existing scratches; however, we do take the time to investigate every claim carefully and thoroughly

Review: Significant vehicle damage sustained from this business On October 3, 2015 I purchased the Shiny Bubbles package ($30) for my silver 2013 [redacted] Corolla. When completed I picked up my car and drove directly home. Inside my garage I walked over the passenger's side to get stuff out. That's when I noticed a HUGE scratch on the frame behind the front wheel. Picture of scratch... [redacted]g I know for a fact that scratch was NOT there before I went to Bubbles because the last thing the [redacted] employee and I did before leaving was a complete circular review of my car to make sure everything was good and I was satisfied; which I was. After [redacted] I drove directly to Bubbles Car Wash. I can provide a photo of my [redacted] receipt and Bubbles receipt showing the dates and times of both to verify they were back-to-back the last places I visited. Upon closer inspection of the scratch it's appear not to be a straight scratch of the type one might get if they hit something sideways going at a rate of speed. The scratch is lingering almost as if an object was randomly dragged across the surface. From what I conclude there are two culprits: 1. Whoever cleaned my car wasn't paying attention and likely dragged some sort of sharp object across that area 2. Something sharp on the spinning brushes or the equipment itself (heavy bouncing) made contact. I suspect the equipment might be malfunctioning. I would like to formerly request compensation. I estimate auto body shops will charge about $1,000 - $2,000 to fix this scratch. I can seek and provide estimates if you wish. I await your response. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: Likely between $1,000 - $2,000 as compensation to pay for the cost to have an auto body shop fix this scratch. I will seek and provide estimates from several auto body shops if you request.

This case will be reviewed by a complaint specialist at the Revdex.com, and then forwarded to the business for their response. It is our policy to allow the business 10 working days to respond to your complaint. You will be notified when the business has responded.

Review: Car wash service caused damage to my tire by ripping out my air valve and damaging my tire sensor monitoring system.

When my car went through the carwash, my air valve got ripped out because they did not check before they ran the car through. This caused my tire to go flat. Bubbles Car Wash changed my tire to my spare flat tire (which was in my truck). They told me I had to replace the air valve myself and they would not take repsonsibility for it.

I had the air value replaced at Goodyear Tires. However, when the air valve was ripped out, it also caused my tire sensor to become damaged. Now, the TPMS light remains on because the sensor has to be replaced. Goodyear Tires quoted me $110 to do the repair. When I presented this to Bubbles Carwash, they refused to take responsibility for the damage, claiming it was my fault that I had extended air valves on my tires. They would not even offer to pay for the air valve costs.

I was very cordial with the manager when I explained my situation to him. I am very disappointed with the lack of sympathy and responsibility the manager had for the situation, especially at such an established corporate business venture. I hope that we can come to a resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like Bubbles Carwash to take full responsibility for the damage they caused to my car, due to lack of improper precautionary efforts. I request that Bubbles Carwash pay for $110 repair costs to replace my tire senor monitoring system.

Business' Initial Response

Bubbles Car Wash has always paid for repairs caused by accidents. If the customer requests repair costs due to "Lack of improper precautionary efforts" then her request is denied.

There are "several" signs posted at the entrance and right behind the Cashier. Clearly visible signs which state our Disclaimers.

Bubbles Car Wash employees and management went above and beyond their core responsibilities for the customer. Customer did not inform the Service Advisor that her "After Market" valve stems stick out too far from her tires. Disclaimer sign clearly states: "CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AFTER MARKET PRODUCTS BROKEN DUE TO CAR WASH NORMAL OPERATION".

We apologize for the inconvenience.
