Bubby Construction Reviews (%countItem)
(1) No insurance coverage. On 10/9/2019, prior to signing the contract with ***, Bubby Construction, LLC., I was assured by ***r that he was insured. After paying him $4,300 for home repairs, much of the work has not been completed. A clock was damaged by his worker. Floor and a chair has paint splatter. Roof leaks continue. I contacted *** and then I contacted his wife, ***r, to inquire if I could obtain the insurance information so as to file a claim. Both remained silent. I have since learned that Bubby Construction, LLC., has never been registered with the ***.
(2) Breach of Contracts. First contract was signed on 10/9/2019. Second contract, for additional work, was signed on 11/5/19. Numerous extensions were given to complete both contracts. The absolute deadline for both contracts was the week before 2019 Thanksgiving. A small portion of the first contract, with its imperfections, was performed 1 week before Thanksgiving. Yet, the bulk of the first contract and all of the second contract has not been started as of 2/11/20.
I have orally complained three (3) times to ***r, Buddy Construction, LLC., regarding his abandonment of the project.
I have paid the first contract in full and $100 on the second contract. My last payment was made on 11/5/19.
The relatively small portion of the first contract that was performed was not fully performed within the industry's standards. For example, a crack remains in ceiling of child's bedroom, a crack is in the ceiling of the masterbedroom and a T shaped crack is on the ceiling and wall of masterbedroom, tape mark which is in excess of 6 ft is seen in ceiling of kitchen ceiling, etc.
Again, much of the work (which had an absolute completion deadline of 1st week prior to Thanksgiving) has not been started. Such work includes, but is not limited to: repair of roof in 2 locations, repair to floor, repair & painting of front porch base board. installing trim, install new floor, etc
