Mr [redacted] brought his year old tractor in with a transmission problemOur technician removed the fender deck and fuel tank to find the problemThe shift linkage was frozen and he had to use a prybar and hammer to free itWe investigated further and found that internal parts and complete transmission assemblies are no longer available from John Deere We do not repair equipment with used parts or other than OEM partsThe customer was advised of this, because although we temporarily freed the transmission, in the long term it would probably fail againThe customer decided against further repair, picked up the tractorWe later mailed him the shift knob that was removed at no charge It should be noted that we have been in business serving southwestern Ohio since We have been a John Deere dealer since 1976, receiving many awards over the years for sales and service excellence and customer satisfaction We do not "lie or commit fraud" as Mr [redacted] has statedWe have always been an honest business with integrity Mr [redacted] 's remarks about us are insulting Our mission is to provide the best possible equipment to fit our customer's needs and support those products with service and parts supportThousands of our satisfied customer's will attest to this! The total charge for Mr [redacted] was $ If he feels our time is not worth any thing, then we will refund his entire amount Thank you, [redacted]

We have left a voice mail and e-mailed Mr [redacted] in an effort to resolve this complaint It should be noted that the original service invoice was completed in March, and has not yet been paid Mr [redacted] was advised on 3/20/of additional items needed for that repair on his John Deere Fmower with hours [redacted] , Service Manager, called him and Mr [redacted] approved at that timeHe has talked with both our Service Manager, [redacted] and General Manager, [redacted] l about his repairs and his reasons for lack of payment The second service invoice was for a belt that broke in June, the unit then had hours (This belt was not replaced in March.) The prior service performed by our service department was in January 27, 2011, in the amount of $ The hour meter was hours We are willing to remove interest charges, and adjust labor and pickup/delivery charges on the second invoice to satisfy Mr [redacted] He then needs to pay the agreed amount in full( $for the original service, plus $for the belt, plus tax of $7.63, for a total of $ He can call [redacted] l or myself anytime at 513- [redacted] for resolution Thank you, [redacted]
