We will arrange for the repair of the opening, not damage once the repair has been completedWe will need certification from a licensed, bonded and insured contractor that the gas pipe has been repairedUpon starting the repair process, the homeowner where the pipe was located asked our technicians to leave in a a vulgar and threatening mannerWe pulled our employees and will not send them back to the property for their safety They then called back the next day demanding we return to complete the repairWe do not want to delay any repairs and would like to resolve the matter once the gas repair has been completed We will need proof that the repair was indeed completed and that the gas line is working 100% safely for the homeowner

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This business seems to think that the location where they cut the hole in the wall and the floor was where the gas line leak wasThey are sadly mistaken and under poor assumptionsThey were hired by the tenants of the downstairs townhome, not our upstairs unitThe gas line runs through the wall in the upstairs master bedroom, through the floor and then runs along the ceiling of the downstairs unit, the unit that had the gas leak, not mineThe technicians were allowed access to our upstairs unit for simply looking over the situation, and was never given authorization to cut a hole in our wall or floorThe leak was fixed by another company, again hired by the downstairs townhome owners, This company since fixed the leak by cutting a hole in the ceiling of the downstairs unit, something that Buchner Heating technicians should had done to begin withUpon my hearing of the fact that Buchner technicians cut a hole in the wall without authorization, that is when I made my phone callsIn my discussion with the technician, he stated he was going to just keep cutting up the wall in our unit until he found the leak when the leak all along was in the threaded elbow that runs along the ceiling of the downstairs unit, again, of which this line supplies the gas to the downstairs unit, not the upstairs unitI told this person that *** Gas pinpointed the leak to be coming from the floor, not the wallThis person could not answer my questions appropriately and he said he was going to just pick up his tools and leave, and I said that would be a very wise decisionFor some reason Buchner either thought they were fixing the line that supplied the upstairs townhome or they simply had not clue as to what they were doingIt is very obvious that the company that fixed the leak on the second try did as they never asked for access to the upstairs townhomeIf Buchner Heating wants some kind of documentation regarding the fix has taken place, then they need to contact the owner whom hired them and whom lives in the downstairs townhomeOf course, if Buchner Heating had taken the time to understand the situation, then we would be filing a complaint against them So far it has been over month and we cannot finish painting and the trim and carpeting the master bedroom because of the fact Buchner Heating owners are dragging their feet and reneged on the agreement they arranged with usThis documentation they are requesting has nothing to do with the damage they caused to our propertyThey need to fix it ASAP in order to limit the loss we have suffered to dateI ask, how would anyone like not to be able to sleep in their own bedroom because of having to wait for some contractor to getting around to fixing damage they caused We in turn, want the fix completed immediately as we have been waiting too long as it is, and this fix must be by a license, certified, registered and bonded contractor in the area carpentryThey cannot use their temporary help who does work for them on the sideThis person is not a licensed contractor or a trained carpenter
Sincerely,
Aaron ***

We will arrange for the repair of the opening, not damage once the repair has been completed. We will need certification from a licensed, bonded and insured contractor that the gas pipe has been repaired. Upon starting the repair process, the homeowner where the pipe was located asked our...

technicians to leave in a a vulgar and threatening manner. We pulled our employees and will not send them back to the property for their safety.  They then called back the next day demanding we return to complete the repair. We do not want to delay any repairs and would like to resolve the matter once the gas repair has been completed.  We will need proof that the repair was indeed completed and that the gas line is working 100% safely for the homeowner.
