I have purchased and created felt Christmas stocking kits for family and friends for over yearsI have noticed a change in the quality of items from Bucilla kitsNeedles break, thread shortages, and the sequins are in deplorable conditionBeads were made of glass, they are now plastic looking The color is inconsistent on sequins and edges are rough and the color of them is fadedAlso the thread is woven thinner and breaks while I'm embroideringI have had to dig back into my "craft stash" to find colors that match to complete a kitI used to tell people requesting stockings, to only buy Bucilla kits,this is no longer true
