We've discussed this with our employee that was taking care of it to find out that the incorrect part had been ordered and the correct part didn't get ordered. Also in the future to include...

everyone when something like this happens. We will receive the new part on April 5th and have tentatively scheduled the repair that afternoon with our customer.

This is to let you know that the case listed above has been resolved.  The owner of the business [redacted]) apologized for the responsible employee, and the fireplace is working again. 
 
I very much appreciate your help.  Before this, I had never used Revdex.com except to check before making a purchase or hiring a service, but your assistance solved a problem that had been going on for months.
