Being this was a gift and I'm unaware of phone calls but email was sent over the weekend which we are closed And I was just able to see this message as well as that Most communication has been via Facebook which I have and can include I will make this offer I can give a free hour cleaning for the inconvenience which would mean two cleanings equal to the man hours each on the voucher in separate visits with no refund Or I would refer to Groupon who accepted payment and would return that payment for which is the terms of purchase with the vouchers If refund is issued no free cleaning will be issued I already am paying to do cleaning with the Groupon promotion and not giving away more

Attached is the estimate from marblelife to restore the bathroom floor that was damaged. Te total comes to $401.25 including tax. The estimator was [redacted] ***, who can be reached at ###-###-####. He said that the damage was consistent with an acidic cleaning product. He was clear that the damage could not have been caused in a uniform manner like that by cat urine. Thanks for your work on this complaint.

Simply stated I will obtain statements from all the companies whose products we use I too will show said companies pictures of the flooring I have no proof on either end I have Mr [redacted] who claims alledged damage which I have seen evidence personnally which raised doubt as to the validity of said claim I have a subcontractor who states both rooms were cleaned and Fabuloso was used I have made my offer to either provide Mr [redacted] with the contact information for the subcontractor who allegedly responsible and required to have their own insurance or I offered to provide products from DuPont the will remove the dull finish and add a new finish The above are the only options on the table as I stated They will be removed shortly I am getting tired of dishonesty from a hand full of customers who look for handouts As are the subcontractors whom assist us I have many customers who have never had sn issue with our subcontractors nor our cleaning As far as the refund of the voucher you absolutely can have that but you go through Amazon as you paid them I have already notified them to expect it and all they need is a call from you to authorize You have the option of the products from DuPont that offer ends in days 4/19/ The subcontractor contact information so they can file with their insurance will expire soon thereafter We gave had over customers and have used the same products with no issues on marble and granite flooring I am disgusted with the dishonesty

This company is awfulIt took days messages and emails for them to call me back about scheduling an appointmentOnce I had an appointment they failed to even show up and didn't bother to call me! After I called and left another message about them missing our appointment it took days for me to get a call back from the owner he told me he would personal come clean my house for free to make up for it and then he blew me off! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

HiI wanted to let you know that [redacted] , has cancelled her orderI can also include emails she has sent that were threatening if you would like but the attached shows that she received a full refund at our request from the third party Living Social We have no issues, servicing a client, however, when they become threatening, we cannot and will not send our employees to a situation like that Thanks, Leroy B***

I’m completely rejecting ***’s responseLike Ronald Reagan said, “Here we go again.” We have safe products we use, as the rest of our customers can testify to thatWe have actually ordered a few tiles similar to ***’s and can demonstrate that they do not cause the harm he is claimingWe can even prove that using the cleaners without dilution, something we don’t do, won’t cause that damage as [redacted] is claiming We also have statements from the manufactures to concur to this, as we have forwarded the pictures, [redacted] has provided We also have a statement from the sub-contractor [redacted] , that when she complete the cleaning you are describing, that you went through the house and said she did a good job and tipped herShe also said you gave her a $tipWow how stories change ***, shame on you! For the record [redacted] is not new [redacted] cleaned for Disney parks and other companies before subcontracting for us We practice good business practices to our customers, however when a customer is dishonest, we will notAgain, shame on you! We can spend weeks, months, years debating this back and forth, however we will not repair or replace something we didn’t doThe burden of proof is with you ***, and we have more than enough substantial evidence to show this This has become outright disgusting and actually funny how [redacted] is presenting thisI have showed this to a few of our client’s and co-workers and everyone said “looks like someone is wanting a new floor unjustified” We have offered you the terms and condition statement from Amazon on how to properly dispute the claimYou must contact them for a refund or to disputeI do not make their contracts for themEven though we provided a cleaning for you, that you even said was good and tipped the cleaner $20.00, you can have a refund As stated before, we will not repair or replace flooring as you claimNothing is going to change, as we are not the ones responsibleWe can prove that with the Revdex.com, Licking County courts, etcIf you want to talk about something else that is fineHowever I’m done with this ridiculous accusation I would advise you that there is a pending lawsuit in the courts where an owner is suing a customer on accusationsIf the owner wins, this will open the doorway for small and large companies to put an end of frivolous claims that in the end makes all customer’s pay more which they shouldn’t have or need to

As stated above, Buckguy LLC will NOT pay for any professional services on the flooring, as we have substantial proof, this was not caused by products or, [redacted] , the sub-contractor We will Not budge on this issue as in my heart, our products would not cause thisWe use very mild cleaning products to make sure the customer items are safe We only use Fabulosa to clean almost everythingWe use Windex to clean mirrors and glassWe use Pledge to dustWe will use comet when cleaning a bathtubWe do not use any chlorine productsIf a customer want’s or ask for a specific product, we will use them, but the customer must provide those I have contacted all the suppliers we use, and they are sending supportive information, that the so called damage, they are claiming, COULD NOT be caused by their products We have many client’s that have marble floors that can testify these products have not caused any problems, along with the manufactures of the products That whole area was cleaned by Fabuloso and waterThe side of where the cat litter box is the area where they are claimingThe other side, no issueWe have talked to a Vet, and having a cat litter box in an area can and will cause damage to carpeting and flooring When I made my first visit to the house and saw this, I noticed, and you can actually see by the pictures you sent, of a toilet seal issueYou actually can see around the toilet seal, mold along with an area of water leaking We have offered you a refund through Amazon, and as you can see we want you to do thisWe don’t want you as a customerI’m appalled by the accusations you have claimed I remember coming to your house and look at what you were complaining about, and the first thing you said was, “I have a friend that is in the flooring business and can get marble tiles to be similar” I would also advise you, since you purchased the vouchers through Amazon Local you are bound by their “ Conditions of Use” which you agreed to when you made the purchase through their websiteSee below as I have included an excerpt DISPUTES Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your visit to Amazon.com or to products or services sold or distributed by Amazon or through Amazon.com will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualifyThe Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limitedHowever, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis the same damages and relief as a court (including injunctive and declaratory relief or statutory damages), and must follow the terms of these Conditions of Use as a court would To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your claim to our registered agent: Corporation Service Company - CSC, Deschutes Way SW, Suite 304, Tumwater, WA The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including the AAA's Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related DisputesThe AAA's rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA's rulesWe will reimburse those fees for claims totaling less than $10,unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolousLikewise, Amazon will not to seek attorneys' fees and costs in arbitration unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolousYou may choose to have the arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions, or in person in the county where you live or at another mutually agreed location We each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative actionIf for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration we each waive any right to a jury trialWe also both agree that you or we may bring suit in court to enjoin infringement or other misuse of intellectual property rights As stated above, our products would not cause the damage being claimed If that was true, our other customers would have made a complaint To date .this is the only one

Hi, My name is [redacted] with Buckeye All Star Cleaning (BuckGuy LLC). I am writing to you in response to the above mentioned complaint. I wanted to show you our side of this. The complainer [redacted] (in our records listed as [redacted] We needed to... reschedule the appointment due to the cleaner having a death in the family. We did indeed notify the customer and offered two options one of which was to allow us to reschedule as the cleaner obviously had a death and that takes precedence in my personal view. We did indeed ask the customer first to willingly allow us to reschedule the appointment which she did not accept when she notified us we offered the two options for the inconvenience of the move. First we offered if she moved that she would receive additional time on us for the move equal to an additional cleaning and the second if that didn’t work for her was to obtain a refund of the service. She then pursued to write to you and post on other media/review sites untrue information omitting that we offered additional time and only stating that we told her that she should refund. She of course obtained a refund from Living Social which I can provide proof of as well as my communications to her via email which shows the offer we made. I can also provide screen shots of the reviews she made without allowing us further opportunity to provide another solution. At this point she has refunded and there is no further solutions available. I would request that this complaint be closed as a resolution has been reached with her obtaining a refund thus negating any further requirements from my company. Thank you for your time and if you request I will forward the email communication and her reviews with my contact reply on them. Much respect for your assistance in this matter! Leroy Bauer Buckeye All Star Cleaning (a division of BuckGuy LLC)

HiI wanted to let you know that *** ***, has cancelled her orderI can also include emails she has sent that were threatening if you would like but the attached shows that she received a full refund at our request from the third party Living Social We have no issues, servicing a client, however, when they become threatening, we cannot and will not send our employees to a situation like that. Thanks, Leroy B***

It is simple enoughThe floor in the other half of the bathroom was never cleaned. It is rarely used as only guests use the downstairs shower, so we did not request it to be cleaned. They fully know that to be the case and are attempting to sow confusion once againI am disgusted by their disregard for truth, which is another reason (among many) that a third party now needs to be involved in resolving thisI am attaching photographs which should help to clear this upThe photos included show the floor in the other room of the bathroom, and the damaged roomI attempted to show some areas where the original residue remains, including by the toilet, where cat litter could not possibly be the causeI am also including a picture taken of my daughter in the room before the damageNotice that the cat cabinet is in the background, yet the floors still have their appropriate sheen

This is inaccurate information They did reach out to me and ask to switch days and I stated that I could not switch because of my work schedule They did not inform as to why they needed to switch I have the e-mail saved They responded and said not a problem they will see me at the originally scheduled time Again, I have the e-mail saved There was no other communication from this company until I received an automated e-mail at 12:30am on the day of the appointment stating my appointment has been moved to June 10th I called the day of my appointment twice and sent e-mails I never received a response from them and still have not The only interaction I have had isWith this company is them threatening legal action
Against me when I posted a review on Facebook I looked on Yelp and they have a very similar review where they did this to someone else This business was actually quite hostile with me in regards to my Facebook review I believe they have now removed it but I was able to save it and have that if needed

This complaint is closed with us due to a resolution reached of a refund issued to the complainer by Living Social I have attached a copy of the refund issued to Revdex.com for review There is no further action required on our part as a resolution of a refund has been givenThe complainer has made postings on Social Media as per their own admission before giving us any opportunity to resolve otherwise All resolutions beyond refund are negated at this point as refund was the choice option per the complainer Please close this case as per Revdex.com requirement complainer has reached a resolution of original complaint

We received several messages from this person that were very threating and demanding and told this person we would be contacting Living Social for them to issue a refundWe told them the following in a email statement Buckeye Allstars 1:PM (hours
ago)to LivingSocial Please immediately issue the above mentioned a full refund. I have received harassing messages from this customer and request a refund issued from you please deduct from upcoming payment to be issued to my company. This person is very threatening and I wished to be released from any contact with her. I request your assistance immediately. Thanks, Leroy B*** Based on our conversations with her, this was not going to be a "win win" situation for either us or the customer and contacted Living Social to issue her a refundWe felt that when we would arrive she has never going to be happy on what service we provided and didn't want to put our employees through this situationWe told this to the customer many times, but she continued to send threating emailsWe have put the request in for a refund and just waiting for the reply from Living Social

I do not want any form of money from this business, I did already receive a refund from Living Social I just wanted it to be noted how they are doing business so they will not continue to do this to people Hopefully filing this and making them aware has helped

I purchased a voucher through Amazon Local for three hour cleaning sessions from this company Amazon Local has refunded my purchase amount, however, I want other consumers to be aware that this company is horrible to deal with The first and only time they came out, they sent a cleaner that was afraid of dogs We have a mellow black lab and a little ShihTsu She threw my glass coffee table from the porch in front of the door and refused to come inside They finally sent someone else hours later and they were only able to clean for hours and it was the worst job I had ever seen On different occasions, either my husband or myself made arrangements to be home from work and they never showed up When contacted, they claimed they had no record of the appointment even though I forwarded the confirmation I had received from them On the last appointment, they sent an email (no phone call - even though they had our contact numbers) and said they were running late They never showed up and never responded to the email I sent I made phone calls to every contact number I had for them and kept emailing them that day I had people coming the next day for my granddaughter's 5th birthday party and I told them it was imperative that they show up for the cleaning as promised They never did and I never heard another word from them I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO NOT USE THIS CLEANING SERVICE

My story has never changedYes, I tipped ***I do not believe that it was $My recollection is $10, but that is irrelevantThe floors were wet when she left, and the damage was not apparent until they driedI was working at the time, and I did not oversee her workShe was pleasant and there was no reason to believe until shortly afterward that there was a problemWe exchanged a series of text messages sent by my wife only about an hour after she leftShe also reached out to you at that timeSame dayThe messages and emails we exchanged document all of this
What motive would we possibly have to go through all of this? It has been terrifically unpleasant and we have had to live with ruined floorsYou accepted responsibility at the outset and now suddenly have worked on every front but to help usAs you will not from our early emails, and your interactions while here, I began all of this by feeling bad for the situation you were in as a small business ownerI showed compassion and flexibility, and all I have ever wanted was to have my floors fixedI asked you to do it and you failed, canceling numerous appointments in the mean time
I have contacted a professional third party (who I do not know - for reference the friend I had in the flooring business works for Six Floors Down, who specialized in installation and not repair) who will be coming to give an estimate on the floors on WednesdayI have only waited this long because I had an outstanding offer to BuckGuy to let them be involved in selecting someone to help with the repairsThe company I contacted believes that the floors can be resurfaced in place and fixedI am trying to do this in a cost effective manner, and have no interest in being punitive, despite how disappointed this process has left meOnce I have the estimate you will have a final opportunity to pay for the work to be completedIt would be better and easier for all involved if you would return to the responsibility you once accepted rather than continuing to offer implausible alternative scenarios and spending time and money in attempts to question our character.
As for matters with the Revdex.com, please let me know if there is anything specific that I can provide to answer any questionsI have provided evidence so far, but I am happy to do anything I can to make this more clear if I can help you make a determinationLet it be known that nothing short of repaired floors will satisfy meOnce that is complete I may still pursue a refund, but a refund will not cover the costs to have the floors repairedThe range I received by telephone this morning was between $and $Obviously nothing is final until I have a written estimateI would very much like to make sure that other customers do not have the same experience I have had, particularly if in the end BuckGuy refuses to pay for these repairsI do not accept anything BuckGuy has said so far, and will not accept any resolution short of having my floors returned to the condition they were in before their arrivalI believe they have made it clear that they will not fix the floors without being compelled to do soI plan to do everything I can to compel them to do soThis matter has been a terrific inconvenience and a truly unfortunate occurrence, however I fully intend to arrive at a resolution which is fair to me as a consumerI am deeply disappointed at what it has taken so far, and I hope it will not take much more than this

In Regard to ***'s complaint There is no dispute as far as the service not being completed the day she requested I do question the validity of other statements however Now as far as her request for the refund on the Groupon she doesn't need to go through Revdex.com nor BuckGuy
Cleaning If she were to read her Groupon Voucher the instructions are there on how to get compensation back through Groupon she was and has never been kept from getting her money back The purchase was and is through Groupon I would advise her through that she would be very wise to read the disclaimers on Groupon purchases as the businesses that you purchase through Groupon only Get half of what you pay and in our particular situation the disclaimers state based on availability and her day we became unavailable but would have honored the voucher Please read your voucher *** and the information is on Groupon website the number to call to obtain a refund of the voucher that was not used I can further assist you as well contact me via email [email protected] Thanks!

To address matters in order:
to the claim that I (Jay) am not the customer who contacted BuckGuy - *** and I are marriedWe are both the same customer
to the claim that we were over miles away, Google Maps says the distance is milesWe checked this before engaging their services
The ceramic floors (as mentioned) were sticky, yes, also in some cases covered with a film - this was due to a misuse of cleaning productsThe appliances were also covered with a filmI take no issue though, those things are irrelevant to the matter at hand, since they did fix those problems.
It did not simply take a week and a half to get here - this is a brief accounting of our various exchanges:
an appointment was made for 1:on March 4th (already a week after the occurrence) for them to come out - they sent an email canceling the appointment at 1:that day after I had already rescheduled work to accommodateWe rescheduled for March 7th at 2:
on march 7th at 2:I received a notice canceling that appointmentWe rescheduled for march 8, any time before 3:
On march 8th I got notice of cancellation at 3:
on march 9th they offered to come "today or tomorrow." having lost patience I said that I expected to see them todayThey later responded that was not an option because they were waiting to have access to a bufferI did not hear from them until -
I reached out on March and scheduled for 2pm on the 12thlater on the 11th they tried to reschedule again due to another appointment, but I insisted that it was time for them to actually show up if they were going to do so
They came on the 12th (they were about minutes late) but did not bring a buffer or the appropriate cleaning materialsThis is when they admitted that the floors appeared to have been cleaned with cometI have photos of the various states of the floor to documentThere was also residue from the cleaner on various parts of the walls around the roomI told them that there was a place nearby where they could get the appropriate supplies and rent a buffer, but they insisted on returningWe set a time for March 17th
They returned on the 17th, still without a bufferThey were able to correct the problems with the ceramic tiles at that time, but only were able to remove the residue from the marble, leaving a scratched and pitted surface on the full surface of the entire area that was cleanedTo be clear, the bathroom is divided into two parts, and only the half with the toilet and sink was cleanedThe other half, with the shower, was uncleaned and still has the full surface sheen and mirror finish as beforeThey planned to come back at that time, again with a buffer, on 3/
on 3/they rescheduled again to 3/
on 3/they cancelled the appointment and claimed they wanted to talk to someone first, who was not available until 3/or 3/
on 3/they scheduled to come out on 3/between 2-3:and I never heard from them again
on 4/after ample time and opportunity I informed them that I no longer felt that they had the capability or intent to fix the floors, and asked that they work with a competent third party who had expertise in correcting such mattersThey responded with claims that were contrary to the obvious facts - I will outline those below, and with a refusal to accept responsibility or consider our request to resolve this through a professional third party floor companyTo the claim that we have three children - we have twoIt's irrelevant, but I want the record to be thorough and correct
There is a cat box built into the cabinet in the room, that is correctIt is built in so as to keep materials and odors containedWhile it is possible that an occasional piece of litter could escape, it is not possible for it to do the kind of damage that was done to the floorit is the clear opinion of all who have seen the floor that the floor was damaged by abrasive and acidic cleaning agentsThe scratches in the floors could not have been made any other way, and both the scratching and pitting is present behind the toilet, and all the way to the other side of the room from the contained litter box
The litter box, the imperfections in the tiles filled in with grout (this is not true and easily refuted through an examination of the tiles that were not cleaned in the other portion of the room) and the supposed comet which BuckGuy suddenly claims to have been in a cabinet (which is not true) are straw menThey have sewn this misinformation in order to cast a doubt which they themselves have not had up until now - and has arisen conveniently when they do not wish to participate in a satisfactory and fair resolution to the damage caused by their companyI have extensive documentation on the entire matter, the professional opinion of a flooring expert, and photos of the floor after it first happened, along with a photo of my daughter which shows the state of the floors before the incidentThese ludicrous claims are a deceptive attempt to avoid responsibility
As a resolution we do not solely seek a refund, which they correct to state would seek through amazonlocal.com where the services were purchasedWe seek primarily the repair of our floors which were damaged by the services we received, a far more difficult matter
I have not sought to pursue the matter with the independent contractor because we did not seek services through her, and never had an agreement with herOur agreement was with BuckGuy, her agreement was with BuckguyWe were not aware that the woman who cleaned our home was a subcontractor until recent claims by buckguyBuckGuy is responsible to us, and they can seek restitution through the insurance of their subcontractor if necessary.
We have offered to allow BuckGuy to participate in the selection of a professional flooring company to fix or replace the floorThrough the repeated attempts outlined above they have proven themselves to be unreliable and incapableIn the course of awaiting appointments that were cancelled I have missed work on eight separate occasionsIt is time to work with professionals

RE: Complaint ID 1009726

In Response to the information and complaint sent by Mr. John [redacted].  First off I would like to address that the responder was not the person whom contacted us initially.  Mrs. [redacted] is the person whom we scheduled with.  In no particular order I would like to address the following.  First off, Upon receiving a call from [redacted] complaining about our subcontractor leaving floors uncleansed via phone call @ 11pm.  I responded to the message immediately and make arrangements as best I could to get to see the issue reported.  Upon arrival I found the ceramic floors to only be sticky.  I seen no other issue.  Granted it took a week and a half to get there since I was also handling cleaning calls (cleaning homes) and this customer was greater than 50 miles away which is listed in the Promotion as within 50 mile radius.  The ceramic floors had normal wear and tear and they have 3 young children.  I proceeded to clean the floors that were ceramic using a general purpose cleaner (Fabuloso) which is what my subcontractor also used.  I wasn’t able to completely remove the stickiness.  Upon that time the client [redacted] arrived home and advised that the stickiness was her complaint on the ceramic floors.  She was walking in socks and the socks would stick to the floors.  I cleaned them and then proceeded to the bathroom with the Marble tile flooring.  Upon walking in I noticed a “white/blue” colored substance on the floor.  This looks to be comet cleaner.  I cleaned the powdery substance off of the flooring again using a general purpose cleaner that is safe for marble (Fabuloso).  I completely removed the powdery substance and the floors appeared dull.  While cleaning the floors I picked up Cat Litter in the cloth.  I happen to notice that there was a concealed cat litter box in a cabinet on the wall adjacent to the door.  There was a white cabinet freestanding base cabinet.  There was a panel on the left side as you face the cabinet kitty door.  I could see a litter box inside.  I could also notice when [redacted] came in to get the polish he showed me he had used on one of the tiles that there was a container of Comet cleaner in the wall cabinet.  I then used the restoring polish that [redacted] showed me to polish the floors per the directions on the container.  It stated to let it cure and stay off of the floor.  I advised [redacted] and noticed before I had left that [redacted] was walking out of the bathroom with socks on thus not adhering the information that I had provided.  I also noticed that this bathroom is split in 2 areas sink and toilet on one side and tub sink on the other.  Both were marble floors but the floor on the tub side did not have the finish issue.  Thus leading me to farther believe that the kitty litter or urine to be the issue.  [redacted] had mentioned that the cleaner told him to use vinegar to help with removing the stickiness and he had told me that acid will hurt the surface of marble.  He also kept mentioning his friend who works for a flooring company who could replace the floors.  In regards to the “pitting” in the floor.  I could see no pitting nor scratching in the floors which are smooth other than what looks to me to be a discoloration like an acid wash.  I did notice there were some imperfections in the tiles that had grout that filled them in.  I have emails and voicemails to validate my statements.
We upon suspicion contacted a veterinarian and inquired about cat urine pH.  I was advised that cat urine has a high pH and could potentially hurt marble.  I have offered in email to bring a product for [redacted] that would remove the finish from the marble floors and another agent that refinishes then.  Both are produced by the same company.  I would not offer up the labor as [redacted] has stated that he wants a professional and that is not an option.  The voucher he bought can be refunded with no problem he must go through Amazon as they are the ones whom charged his credit card and would be the ones to process the return we’ve never debated with him on that issue.  He should check his Terms of Service with Amazon which actually tells him that.  I can’t request on his behalf he must and they will without argument issue the refund.  I have notified on our end that we would prefer he / [redacted] be refunded.  I have spoke with both a vet and a flooring professional whom conquer that it is likely a result of Kitty litter.  I have also offered to give him information from the subcontractor whose responsible and let the subcontractor’s insurance handle the situation and per his last email to me which again I will happily send he said NO.  The subcontractor is responsible and carries their own insurance and per Ohio guidelines they must.  They are responsible and their insurance as a result should pay if irreparable.  My offer has been made to assist in this and [redacted] / [redacted] have refused.

I am frustrated by the way things seem to have turned with the complaint I have made, to say the least. I would like to have the opportunity to talk with you if possible before responding. It seems we are going round and round, and I don't know what basis you are looking for in order to make your conclusion. I am happy to provide you with anything I can, but I am REALLY upset about being accused without motive of ruing our own floors and I's like to make sure that our complaint is registered at minimum. I think other customers badly need to be protected from a company who would do something like this. I don't know what else I can provide that will help you to reach a conclusion, but continuing the back and forth we have been engaged in just doesn't seem helpful. Feel free to call me at ###-###-#### or to email me back here.
