If you want the best possible restoration work done on your ride There the best just like all restoration shops its time and material They just built me this national winning Mustang that is out of this world Couldn't recommend enough
I took my Mustang Shelby GT for a full restoration to Buckeye Classic Car First of all, while they are only a small local company, they perform 110% on their body and restoration work I did not get a formal quote at the beginning of my job, but how can ANYONE quote a price on a restoration without getting into the car fully, disassembling and and removing panels, doors, etc.? My experience is ongoing, because they are still working on my car, but for a small mom & pop operation, they are doing a great job
Wish I could give them zero stars. Avoid at all costs. The owners are so crooked they could hide behind a spiral staircase. They will lie straight to your face. They are racist and bigoted. They cheat and basically steal in their unethical business practices.
It's hard to know where to begin with what they do. They lose parts and then bill you way over retail for replacements. They double bill for labor and parts. If they mess something up, you'll still be charged both for the incorrect work and the re-working.
They hire high school kids at minimum wage and then charge the customer $75-100 per hour for "expert" work. Sometimes they don't pay their employees for work that has been done.
Here are some examples:
Customer is a few days late paying, so car goes out in the snow and all bodywork is ruined. They expect him to pay $25k for the re-working. He sues.
Customer estimate goes from $35 to 80k. He sues. They coat his car in silicone so that it cannot be painted and then urinate on it.
Customer send car in for tune up and minor issues. He is charged $25k and the car is returned to him not running.
These are just a few of many. Just don't go there for any reason.

I took my 1969 Mustang Shelby GT 500 for a full restoration to Buckeye Classic Car. First of all, while they are only a small local company, they perform 110% on their body and restoration work. I did not get a formal quote at the beginning of my job, but how can ANYONE quote a price on a restoration without getting into the car fully, disassembling and and removing panels, doors, etc.? I had high hopes when I took my driver into get some work done. I should have seen flags when I got no formal quote or anything got written down. In the end my floor that was supposed to be fixed had small holes still, the spray on insulation was sloppy and had to be done twice and still not at the correct thickness in a few areas. The hood underside was painted but not sanded correctly and my inner fenders were scratched when shoved under a table. While the owner offered to fix them, after 2 months of the parts just sitting in his shop, I collected them and took them home. I was told "They will get scratched anyway when you install the fenders"....
Maybe when someone just drops 50K on a resto he does good work but for those of us looking for some minor work you get second rate service at a first rate price.
