Message:I filed a complaint against buckeye muffler they have since gave me partial payment back so I want to cancle mycomplaint give me a call a *** *** ***

To whom it may concern:Mr*** came into Buckeye Muffler on March 2016, because his vehicle was not running properly and his engine light was onWe scanned his vehicle for codesMr*** vehicle had numerous codes, which included misfires an defective Y-pipe converter assembly and possibly
and intake leakOur mechanic then did a physical inspection on the vehicle, along with a heat test to confirm that his Y-pipe converter assembly was defectiveMr*** was then informed about the numerous problems that his vehicle hasHis vehicle needed a Y-pipe converter assembly, a tune up and also a possible intake leak All these problems will make your engine light come on. At this point Mr*** decided to replace the Y-pipe converter assembly first and come back at another time to get a tune up done Buckeye Muffler removed his defective converter assembly (the baffles were broken inside which caused it not to function properly) then installed the new one, which involves welding the new Y-pipe converter assembly onto his vehicle(We still have his old damaged converter at our shop.) We then cleared out the codes, which is procedure Then re-scanned the vehicle which showed the misfire codes and possible intake leakMr*** was then re-informed about the other problems with his vehicle and that these issues will keep his engine light onMr***'s new converter was functioning properly and he then left satisfied with our service and said he would be back for a tune up.On March 2016, Mr*** returned to get his tune upBuckeye Muffler then rechecked for the codes, as per proceduresHis converter code was gone and it was functioning properlyBut Mr***'s vehicle still had the misfires and possible intake leak. Buckeye Muffler then installed factory specific plugs (set of 8) and one set of new plug wiresAfter we were finished we showed Mr*** his old fouled out spark plugs and informed him that after installing all the new parts his vehicle still had a misfire on the drivers sideIt is not our fault that his vehicle has other mechanical problemsMr*** was informed about these problems in the beginning So Buckeye Muffler then recommended that he take his vehicle to a dealer to have the intake leak further checked out and that it may be under a recall from the factory. Buckeye Muffler wants to keep our customers satisfiedSo we informed him that we would be more than willing to remove our new spark plugs and set of wiresWe would reinstall his old plugs and his old set of wires and would not charge him anything at all on the tuneup if he was not satisfiedWe even told him to bring his vehicle back after he got it checked out at the dealer if there wasn't a recallIf there was something we could repair for less than the dealer, we would help him anyway we could. Mr*** refused our offer to remove our new parts and reinstall his old parts and not have to pay his tune up billBuckeye Muffler stated on his receipt about the misfire on the drivers side, possible intake leak and that the vehicle needs to go to the dealer He was not upset with our service so Mr*** signed the receipt and payed his billWe also informed him not to wait to long to take his car to the dealer to get his intake leak checked out, it may damage his new parts Mr*** left with a tune up and his new converter that is still functioning properly that we installed back on March 18th. Buckeye Muffler never herd a complaint from Mr***until we got your email along with him doing a credit card charge back on us . Buckeye Muffler goes way beyond to help our customers and keep them satisfiedWe made him a offer we did not have to make because his vehicle still has problems that he was informed about that will keep his engine light on. Thank you Richard M***

To Whom it my concern,Miss. [redacted] did call our shop to ask if we could inspect her car because she was having a problem with her clutch. She asked if had a towing service, we do not,so we gave her the number to the company we use. Miss. [redacted] was told to have them bill Buckeye Muffler for the...

tow. Miss. [redacted] was informed of the price for a tow which is normally $65.00 plus tax, unless it out of there area. Then the company charges more. The car was towed to our shop and we received the bill for $79.00 for an out of area tow. Buckeye Muffler inspected her cars clutch issue. After the inspection we found that the car needed a new clutch and clutch link cylinder. Miss. [redacted] was called and given the quote with the tow bill price. She was not happy with the price and wanted to take her car to another shop. We said that is fine all you will owe is the tow bill there is no charge to inspect your car. When Miss. [redacted] came to pick up here car she was very upset about having to pay the tow bill of $79.00 for the out of area tow. She began yelling and acting disrespectful to our mechanic. Miss. [redacted] also yelled at the other customers in the waiting room telling them we overcharge and do bad work. Buckeye Muffler then charged Miss. [redacted] the $65.00 with no tax to get her to calm down and try to make her happy. Buckeye Muffler was nothing but respectful to Miss. [redacted] and do not owe her for any tow bills. If a customer does not want to get there car repaired at our shop they are responsible for the tow bills. Buckeye Muffler already gave her a discount on the tow bill that we did not have to.Thank you for your time,Rick M[redacted]Buckeye Muffler and Brake

3-16-16 Went to Buckeye Muffler, cause engine light came on, other then that, the truck was running find. They pour bottle of something into gas tank, said it will take 2 days to see if this would take care of engine light. The truck was running great.3-18-16 2 days later truck was knocking an making all kind of noises. Took truck back to Buckeye muffler, Mike stated it need pipe & converter put on, and this would take care of engine light and knocking. After getting this done, engine light still on. I only stay 1 min away from Buckeye Muffler. So after picking up truck, I went home in park it, until it was time to go to work, this was 11:30am. Went two block, engine light came back on, and the truck start hesitated which it never did before. I was not please.3-21-16 Went back to Buckeye, They ramp it up for 10-15 min. like it was a race car, Mike says it need tune up. So this was done. Still engine light is on and truck hesitated. Now stated it need 2 caliber or coil replace. This was after spending over $1,600 dollars, $500 in cash. I was not please. I then told Mike that I need my truck back, after paying all this money, and engine light is still on. They stated this will be done when I took it down the first time. Took it to [redacted] Auto they says the same thing about the coil. Never had conversation with Buckeye about anything else. I was never satisfied as they stated, that why I went back 3 times, cause engine lights was still on. That is why I took it there in the first place engine light still on and the truck is misfireing & hesitates, my truck run and sound like a junk truck after getting all this work done This I my complaint, and why I call Revdex.com as well. The problem was never resolved and I have 2 additional problems that now exist. Totaly dissatisfied with Buckeye Mufflers service on my truck. I don't believe or trust that the first work on the converter was done at all. I am asking what work was really done on my truck, because my truck is running worse, when the only problem was a engine light on, with no problems. Will you please help me too resolve this problem.
