Buckeye State Credit Union tries to accommodate our members in every way possible but there are policies, procedures and guidelines each branch has to follow. This policy is looked at every year to assure we are looking at every option to help our members. Yes this one was over looked in this case and she did receive her Birthday loans with other income in prior years. BSCU will be looking into the guidelines again for the year 2016. Members need to understand Policy, Procedures and guidelines will change and some point to fit the economy and that we meet our regulation requirements as a Credit Union. We have rules and guidelines we have to follow also but we do try our best to keep our members happy that is our goal. BSCU will give the member there birthday loan and at the end of the year BSCU will be reviewing the guidelines again for 2016. Thank you

The loans were paid back so the crefit union profited off the loans foe each of those 5 or 6 years. I would not admit that I overlooked a member for 5 or 6 years, not an efficient business practice. That's a shame & poor customer service. I don't want to be overlooked again. I will be closing my meager account with my spouse's direct deposit.
