Buckhorn Heating & Air Conditioning Reviews (5)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr. [redacted] ***,I sincerely apologize if there were missed calls that were not returned. It is not our business practice to ignore customers and I honestly have no record of missed calls. Regarding the missed appointments, I have dealt with the individual responsible. No need to get into details- lets... just say we have personnel changes. Regarding repair to the furnace and "melted controls". Had we found melted controls we never would have attempted any repair as it would have ignored a fire and safety hazard. One detail that I can't ignore is that the control board is in a separate compartment than the burners and gas valve. The Blower compartment houses your control board. A melted control board would have meant that a fire would have been present in the blower compartment. Had this in fact been the case, your house would have been on fire. I find it very suspicious and frankly I don't believe it was melted. Again, we never would have been inclined to service a furnace in this condition. I will be happy to reduce the bill as you have requested by the amount of $170.00 in effort to assure you that Buckhorn Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. does stand behind our work. Please feel free to contact me directly. My cell phone # is [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Ms ***,I received the documentation in questionI am troubled by the nature of your comments howeverI discussed with you on the phone in detail the events as you described them to me on the date the incident occurredI do not dispute the technician failed to close the water off at the valve
The water burst because the hose was oldYou never mentioned anything about the dog, you mentioned your neighbor was on siteYou also refused my request to me meet you on site that day to as any damageI asked you to maintain a little perspective on the situation, if the hose burst after the technician left and it sprayed water for part of the afternoon certainly it may have accounted for some additional water usage but certainly not have created any basement damageI asked you to provide me the water bills to make a comparison and I would be happy to reimburse youYou provided me with two months - June and July, I recall asking for August also as there is always a jump in sprinkler consumption between June and JulyI will send your check in the amount of $I will consider the matter closed once I see the check is cashed. For the record, you have not contacted me since our initial conversationI find it unfortunate that you refused to let me meet you on site and then opted to embellish the circumstances of the incident at the Revdex.com in your complaint. Sincerely,CraigBuckhorn Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc
