Please stay away from REI store and REI productsThis satisfaction guarantee they have is just a figment of their imagination.wanted to return or exchange a REI backpack with a torn front mesh pocket which wasn't a fault of my own.I didn't realize their product was so inferior that putting a soft cover book is gonna rip it into shreds and they totally weren't able to help me because I bought the backpack over a year ago to be exact a year and a half ago.I thought there products last longer than a year with how pricey they are but they don'tthat's why their satisfaction guarantee only last for a year.After that you are screwed, just imagine paying $for an REI jacket and only given a one year warranty.my Dyson vacuum which is around $has a year warranty on labor and partsI wish I have known it is gonna be like thisI have been an REI member for awhile but I'm just gonna be moving all my buying to Amazon
On 7/1, I ordered two of the same type/brand clothing items on-line (***, Item ***(02), Item ***(42))When I received the confirmation e-mail, I noticed the significant price difference between the different color clothing items even though the type/brands were the sameSo, I went to Live Assistance to ask if I could have my order modifiedThe chat disconnected in the middle of me explaining the situation and shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail that my order *** had been cancelled (received at 6.42pm)Because I received this e-mail, I started a new order (***) and ordered two of the same type/brand clothing items (x Item ***))Then, I received an e-mail that my original order *** had been modified to the same type/brand clothing items (x Item ***(42)) (received at 6.47pm)The next morning 7/2, I connected to Live Assistance to explain the situation and ask them to cancel the subsequent order in view of the confusing e-ma
