Was very disapointed with how the body work came out. Body lines are off by inches and also left rocker pannel bent so door freezes shut.Well first off my truck was backed into and the door was dented right on a crease and the rocker pannel bent down. He did not replace the door like 99% of the places would have. So the body lines are all slightly off as well as the door being bent so air travels past the weather stripping. The dent was never removed it was just bondoed over. The rocker pannel was bent down and was never bent up also bare metal was left on the rocker pannel. There is over spray on a few locations as well. My door pins where never replaced so my door is almost falling off my truck. I know I may sound picky but the goal is to make it look as if the truck never got hit. I am extremely disapointed with the body work.Desired SettlementI would like a refund to get the work done else where because im extremely disapointed at how it came out. Im not really sure if I would like them to do the work again.Business Response We repaired [redacted]'s 18 Year old vehicle in November of 2013.Mr. [redacted] came in at least once every day during the entire process.Mr. [redacted] was entirely happy during the entire process.When he left he told us he would send in other customers. Two weeks later Mr. [redacted] returned with two small issues. He wanted a small groove at the bottom of the door extended another 1/2" and a small spot in door jam refinished. We told Mr. [redacted] we warranted our work and would be happy to correct these issues and suggested we do it in the spring, he agreed. He needs to return and show us the others issues so that we may determine if they are accident related.We threw in numerous free items for Mr. [redacted] such as installing a non accident involved door mirror, repainted rust spots not accident related etc.Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle has a decal that Ford no loner supplies, we even hired a sign painter to replicate the decal.We will not refund the money paid but will be glad to go over the process and correct any issues we feel were improperly repaired.I apologize to everyone involved for the amount of time it took to respond. My wife has been in and out of the hospital, where she prestly remains and I have not been at work very much.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)When you take the vehicle out in sun light you can see some blemishes on the paint. I did not ask you to paint my wheel wells. My door leaks water on me and it never has before. Like I said my rocker pannel is still bent down no attempt to fix it was made. Paint is pealing off my rocker pannel. The decal is still made for my truck but you must buy the entire roll to do the whole which is quite costly. I see you want to do this cheap for the man who had to pay but now that I see it every day the way it came out is just not acceptable. There is still overspray allover my truck. My door lock does not work the same on the driver side door anymore. I would rather there be a new door put on the truck because this door is not working because its basically falling iff the hinges it was never like this before. According to one truck [redacted] who has the same truck as me he said that it does not look correct as well. Im a kid but this truck is my pride and joy when my grand father died he gave me this truck and the only thing I ask for is it to look like it did the day I got it. It looked promising and sounded promising. But when you call me a [redacted] for being picky about my vehicle I get extremely offended. The poor customer service. I was called "rded" because the body line on the bottom of the door did not match the other door. I may be young, but I did work at a detail shop so I want my truck to look nice not hacked together also the paint on the door looks faded and not shiney almost like it was not buffed correctly. I dont know if im being to picky but thats just me im a perfectionist. I sincerely appologize about your wife, as my mother is in the hospital as well and my uncle recently died so I have not attended much work either.Final Business Response Mr. [redacted] agreed to have his door "repaired". In order for us to evaluate each and every concern raised by Mr. [redacted] we need to see the vehicle. As I stated earlier we warranty our work. I see no need for further internet correspondence because in order to proceed we must see these issues. I have been in business for over ten years and never had a Revdex.com complaint. Like I stated earlier its not shiney like the regular pain that was originally on it its more dull and there is buffing material allover the place. Im not an auto body master but like I stated I worked at a detail shop and it just doesnt look right at all.
