Because of health issues we postponed finishing project until I could personally return. Project completion requires a Damper, Chimney Cap, and insulation for the fireplace chimney.The total project was for $3200.00. We installed both liners and the heater liner is completed and being used. The...

liner for the fireplace is a round 10 inch liner. the Heater is a 6 inch liner.
Basically we were compensated for time and materials. Our profit is the $1200.00 which we did not bill for. 
I talked to the Son and informed him of heath issues. he said that someone else said the liner is too small. This is nonsense. We installed many hundreds of 10 inch liners. The only issue is was the incompetence of the original chimney builder. The inside looks like it was built by novice and the crown was recessed allowing snow and water to filter into the Chimney. Regardless of the condition, I would have used a 10 inch liner,same as in my own home. 
This is an unfortunate situation which is believed to be the results of previous Cancer treatments. I can complete project The second week of july or I will return monies allotted for the fireplace flue which is rounded off at $600.00.

I am rejecting this response because:Buckley performed work on our Chimney and was paid. Once paid Buckley never finished job. Buckley has not responded to numerous phone calls since this. I submitted a Revdex.com complaint two or three months ago and the resolution was for Buckley to pay 600.00 dollars back for parts missing and failure to complete. I then agreeded to the resolution and closed the complaint. Buckley never honored the resolution and now has not returned numerous phone calls again.Buckley needs to pay the agreed amount for this to be resolved. Next step will be small claims court. thanks

Review: My Buckley came out and gave me a quote on repairing my chimney. I contacted him about a week and a half later and informed him that I'd like the work done. He told me that it would take about a week before he could start. I agreed that this was fine. I contacted him about 9 days later, and asked for an update on when he would be starting. I contacted him again several times last week, on his cell phone, his office phone, and through e-mail, and received no response. At this point, I doubt I'd trust him to perform the job properly, but an explanation would be nice.Desired Settlement: At this point, I doubt I'd trust him to perform the job properly, but an explanation would be nice.

Review: Buckley received a deposit for work that wasn't completed, and when called to ask about his where about's he wouldn't pick up. After One day of work on May 9th 2014, Mr Buckley requested a deposit of 2000.00 dollars. We paid with check and it has been been cashed same day. Calls have been made on 4-29, 5-5, and 5-7 with no response. Since this we had to hire a second person to complete work required.Desired Settlement: Complete refund is requested, because the work that was completed was incorrect. The new contractor had to re-due the work completed.
