I am rejecting this response because: Buckner and Sons has finally refunded my deposit Please note, everything stated in my previous messages was completely accurate and truthful It is very unfortunate that Buckner and Sons continues to be dishonest in their business practice and in regards to my formal complaint with the Revdex.com There was no ‘wait period’, only a refusal to return my deposit Additionally, the statement regarding the acceptable form of payment is totally untrue Buckner and Sons absolutely agreed to not only accept credit card for payment initially (in November), but also agreed to begin work promptly on 12/19/when they received my deposit on 12/16/and agreed to delay cashing my check until 12/23/ I am in hopes that another customer never has to have the experience I have had with Buckner and Sons and does not have to resort to contacting the Revdex.com for resolve

Buckner and Sons is pleased to offer the following response to the customer’s complaint. The customer met with Buckner and Sons on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, and she received a full $500 refund for her deposit given on 12/16/2016, that could not be cashed until 12/23/2016. During the 30-day wait, the customer presented a complaint to Revdex.com, with some factual and some erroneous information. There are only a few issues which Buckner and Sons will respond to, as this complaint has met the customer’s desired resolve, which was to return the customer’s down payment. Regarding the customer’s claim of acceptable payment by credit card, Buckner and Sons disputes this claim. True we did discuss her desire to pay by credit card, and equally as true, we discussed the company’s denial for her proffered payment method. Buckner and Sons does not accept credit cards, never has and does not intend to begin accepting such payments. The customer was told that acceptable forms of payment are personal check, money order or cashier’s check, also known as certified funds. The customer then wrote Buckner and Sons a check for deposit, (12/16) and later informed the company that it could not be cashed for seven days. Although this was not ideal, the check had already been accepted. A down payment/deposit requires payment before work has begun. Therefore, the customer could not have reasonably expected work to begin until the check was made good. (12/23). Buckner and Sons was closed for the Christmas holiday from Dec 24 – Dec 30, returning to work on Jan 3. Buckner and Sons was contracted for work with customers ranging from commercial hotel units to residential painting and repairs. The customer’s provided information for temperatures for the month of January, is not disputed, but accepted as she displayed. Scheduling for the customer’s contract for work was difficult due to Buckner and Sons’ workload. The company extended our apologies to the customer at the time she was refunded. The customer and Buckner and Sons agreed to the resolution by shaking hands. Buckner and Sons, regrets we could not work with the customer to bring satisfaction to her liking. We are ecstatic that she received the services she demanded via another contractor.  Buckner and Sons wishes the customer success with all her future painting and repair needs. Tell us why here...

This customer gave Buckner and Sons a check that could not be cashed for a week as a deposit for materials and partial labor; therefore Buckner and Sons paid for materials and took them to the jobsite. When the laborer showed for work, orher contractors were on site preventing Buckner and Sons to...

complete window installation. On the dates specified in customer's complaint, the weather prohibited painting (drying) because temperatures were below 35 degrees. Customer was told about work performed amid other contractors preventing our laborer to complete this job. Customer requested pur laborer to wait onsite until orher contractor completed work. Such a request was not feasible and was communicated to customer. All materials purchased for the installtion were left on sote, and the remainder of deposit ws set aside to purchase paint. Customer recently requested refund of deposit check written. Once materials are returned to store, a refund checkt will be issued to customer.his, and in the mentime continued with other contracted jobs.
