Buck's Automotive

The original repair done to the air conditioning of my Toyota Tacoma totaled $600.62. I drove the truck after the repairs, using my air conditioning during the summer months of late July, August, September and October of 2018. I did not require air conditioning during November and December of 2018, and for the month of January and early February. I noticed that the air conditioning was not blowing cool air in late February of 2019. The total time the repair lasted was for a duration of four months. My odometer read at the time of repair 69583 miles, and 71713 miles (subsequent repair) for a difference of 2130 miles. In addition, at least one of the two recommendations for repairs to my vehicle was incorrect.
I contacted Buck's as soon as I noticed there was something wrong with the air conditioning. I brought in the 2005 Toyota Tacoma, April 4, 2019; for repair. Buck's Automotive, Inc. charged me $45.57 for looking at the air conditioner; and recommended that I replace my A/C compressor. The representative from Bucks telephoned me by cellphone and said that he could do the repair for $1000 more, or said that he could do the job for $900 with a less expensive compressor. I told him for that price, I was better off taking it to the Toyota dealership.have a copy of my original repair and subsequent repair.
