I had hail damage to my gables, they did an excellent job & I would certainly recommend them to anyone!!

Review: [redacted] has been emailed several times and he failed to respond.

[redacted] stated he would complete all the items listed in the hail damage claim provided by [redacted]. The work not completed is combing heat pumps, repairing garage door wraps, replace damaged facia and replace damaged siding.

I can provide a copy of the State Farm Hail Damage Claim report.Desired Settlement: Finish the work for the items in the hail damage report, combing heat pumps, repairing garage door wraps, replace facia and replace damaged siding.

Mr [redacted] is not a customer of Buckshot GC. He lives in condo association that is under contract with Buckshot. He is not one of the members of the board that are in charge of coordinating the repairs. Currently we are in a legal battle with the insurance company who at the moment is only paying for sections of the siding and fascia that Mr. [redacted] wants repaired. We are not wanting to piece his siding back together which is required at the moment due to lack of cooperation from his insurance company. Mr. [redacted] has told his insurance company that the siding is still made when in fact ITEL says it is not. Also his insurance company said they could get the siding made they have failed to produce a piece as well. They are attempting delay the process in hopes that the association will just give up and piece meal the siding, in essence saving his insurance company hundreds of thousands of dollars. The board of the condo association and Buckshot are all on board to fight his insurance company and give the residents that live in this community what they truly deserve, a fair and just settlement. I do apologize that this process is not going quick enough for Mr. [redacted] and that he felt a need to file a complaint with the Revdex.com when he is well aware of the situation at hand. We are putting our best foot forward to protect his number 1 asset, his home.

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on Monday, (which was laced with profanity from him) in attempt to collect the remaining small balance owed for the ACV portion of his roof and siding work that was completed per the contract he signed. On this contract that I have attached it looks like the gutter work was to be done at some point during the negotiations but later lined through indicating we were not doing this work. This job is part of contractor program network in which Buckshot communicates with the insurance company to designate the work that is considered program (work to complete) and those repairs that are non-program (work not completed by Buckshot). Mr. [redacted] is not being charged for any gutter work per the invoice I have attached. There was a mistake with the invoice that was sent to Mr. [redacted] and I send my apologies for this. This was again part of the gutters that at one time were discussed to be completed and then later removed, the subsequent gutter charge has been removed and also attached to this response.Regarding the leak, Mr. [redacted] contacted us back in January that the roof had a leak. We met with him and repaired this situation at that time. Mr [redacted] also signed a satisfaction form at this time. He has not made any one aware of any other leak so this matter is closed and been handled. We have since been paid the depreciation by his carrier after the satisfaction form was submitted, however the remaining balance was paid to the homeowner with his claim. According to this paperwork we were to collect a total due from homeowner of $4282.42, ( he has paid $3829.81), which leaves a balance due $452.61 for the roof and siding work completed. The gutter money has been removed from the invoice (approximately $140.00).The homeowner owes this balance due and is being given the appropriate time for him to submit payment. Once this time expires, Buckshot has been given the go ahead to place a lien on the property. The job has been completed as we are not contracted or charging for work yet to complete.

Review: I agreed to have Buckshot GC do work on my house. Their salesman agreed to go the work based on the contract that we signed. He quit or was fired and Buckshot continued to not complete the work as agreed and to pressure me to pay them. They agreed to fix problems but they said it was my fault that they did not rectify the problem because I did not give them the statement from the insurance company. It has been almost 1.5 years and just now they are giving me a invoice telling me I owe them money that I disagree with. The work was not completed and they keep indicating that they don't have to abide by their agreementDesired Settlement: I have been reasonable and communicated what was due. They are trying to collect money that was unearned because their salesman did a poor job estimating the job.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] contracted with Buckshot to complete repairs due to storm damage. The repairs were covered by his insurance company and included repairs to his roof, gutter, garage doors, painting of his siding (which he upgraded out of his own pocket for additional painting) and a window replacement. All of the items contracted with Buckshot have been completed and since this is insurance work Buckshot also billed his insurance company for Contractor's Overhead and Profit, which is due to the contractor as the name suggests. I beleive Mr. [redacted] is confused by the insurance process and also by his out of pocket costs that are also due. I will break down the insurance paperwork and hopefully this will become clear. The roof, which is completed costs, $9258.60. The guttering which is completed costs, $843.63. The garage door, which is completed costs, $1600.01. The painting work that was covered by his insurance, which is completed costs, $2380.50, Mr. [redacted] also contracted with Buckshot an additional $1478.00 to paint the rest of the siding on the house (this was not covered by insurance due to not being damaged by hail). The window was done at no charge, apparently an agreement with the sales representative, which Buckshot has continued to honor. In addition the insurance company was invoiced for GCOH&P (contractor's overhead and profit), which is owed to the contractor at a cost of $858.45 and the permit fee of $116.33, which was purchased by Buckshot and reimbursed by Mr. [redacted]s insurance carrier. All the above mentioned work is completed and totals $16535.57. Mr. [redacted] has acknowledged that he has only paid $13815.53, which leaves his balance at $2720.02. Mr. Eckelberger signed a per insurance approval contract which means Buckshot is free to supplement the claim for the necessary money needed to completed the repairs. This does not effect the money that Mr. [redacted] has agreed to pay what so ever, rather the extra money (in this case for garage doors, painting, GCO&P, and permit) comes from the insurance company to pay actual costs to repair his home. The extra money that Mr. [redacted] holds onto is not his and Buckshot will not just go away when this money is owed to repair his home to pre-storm condition. Mr. [redacted] has also decided to file a complaint with the AG office so at this point our cooperation with trying to get him to understand the process has come to an end. Buckshot will now take all necessary action to secure our interest in his home until the balance is paid. Buckshot will be filing a lien on the property and will eventually be paid the money owed. We have been working with Mr. [redacted] for months trying to help him understand and avoid the collection process, that time has now ended.

Response:

Buckshot has provided the facts. We have tried to work with Mr. [redacted] for over a year now. He wanted his whole house repaired and now doesnt want to pay for it. His file along with the Revdex.com complaints have been sent to our attorney. We have tried for months to avoid legal proceedings and liens but at this point Mr. [redacted] has left Buckshot no choice but to do so. Our attorney will be in touch with him and they can work it out. At this point I will not be able to provide this file with any more information as advised by our attorney. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.
