Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted] still rejects the response as Bucky's agreed to fix the problem in writing (email) numerous time.
Regards,
[redacted]

We had our floor done on 08/02/ 2011 we asked all the questions about how well the floor would hold up. We were told that there would be know problem and all cracks would be covered and filled in. We were told the floor had a 20 year warranty and could be patched if there was any chipping. Before the first year the cracks had come back and we seen chipping.. The problem continues to . grow with more of the floor coming up, After many phone calls they came and patched the floor but the problem get worst. Its come to the point where they won't take our calls. The customer service is a joke. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">In response to Mr [redacted]'s issue again.  At this point, we can do nothing in winter to accommodate the [redacted]s. We could take a look at it in spring however if the issue is found to be the garage floor and not our product the [redacted]s need to know there will be a charge for coming to look at it and repair the floor.  Thank you.

We have called [redacted] of Belinski Homes several [redacted]es (as he has stated) regarding the cracked stoop, we also went to the residence in question to look at the...

issue.  In all the conversations with [redacted], including after we looked at the stoop we made him aware that Bucky's Executive Flooring's warranty does NOT cover cracks.  Our product does not prevent cracks that concrete naturally makes due to Wisconsin weather or poor concrete workmanship-(example: Wisconsin highway and roadway systems!)During every conversation with [redacted] we instructed [redacted] we would be happy to repair the cracked area caused by the concrete cracking however, this is not covered under warranty and would be an additional charge. After receiving the complaint today from you in the mail, [redacted] of Bucky's) contacted [redacted] and received his voicemail.  [redacted] AGAIN explained to [redacted] via voicemail that our product does not prevent the cracking but we would be happy to repair it at an additional charge.

In response to the [redacted]'s request. Again, our product cannot be applied to garages in winter so we would like the [redacted]'s to pick any day in June for us to come and access their garage floor and if need be at that time do any repairs.  If the problem lies with their concrete there will be a $500.00 minimum charge plus repair costs. We would like the [redacted]'s to understand that the reason their sons' business was brought up is to have patience with people, as we have with their own sons' company.  We didn't run to the Revdex.com when frustrated with no response.  Simply stating facts, it could've been anyone's business but it was an example of patience.  Yes, they may have contacted us summer, fall and winter however, we have other jobs that required our attention.  The rainy, cold spring/summer and not being able to work in winter with our product limits us.  We would like the [redacted]s to understand we can't control the weather and it does naturally put us in a bind when the weather doesn't cooperate.  Mrs. [redacted]'s response to "the fact that it is winter is irrelevant," is NOT true.  We are simply protecting our customers by not working with our product in winter as the product would not adhere correctly to cold concrete.  We hope Mrs. [redacted] understands this and accepts the time in June as appropriate. The [redacted]s should pick a date in June that works for them, let us know and we will call the night before to confirm.Looking forward to hearing from them. Thanks!

Please explain to Mr. [redacted] we cannot transport our product or apply the product in the middle of winter!  Again, if we feel it is our issue we will review...

the situation and repair if our issue on the same day.  If it not our issue a service call would be warranted and Mr. [redacted] would have to pay for the initial service call to come and access the situation and another service call for the actual repair!

The proposal was the basis for the work that was done.  Bucky's sales person stressed the quality of the product, the quality of the work and the fact that it was backed by a 20 year warranty.  Bucky's included the 20 year warranty on the proposal.  We proceeded with the work based on the proposal and the 20 year warranty was the major reason we proceeded with Bucky's.  At no time did Bucky's present any other contract documents.  Bucky's requested  we sign the proposal to proceed with the work which we did.  We only had to select a color and the level of flaking.  We paid extra for the full flake and paid the bill in full.
It is a shame that such a small issue should create such a big problem with Bucky's.  The affected spot is only about 1ft by 2ft in size.  This should be a minor repair for Bucky's.

I was not expecting the defects to be repaired in winter.
I will call them when the weather is appropriate to set up a time to do the repairs
I can only hope that they return my phone call this time.

This warranty clearly states under sections 1,4,5,7 and 8 that failure of substrates is not covered under this warranty.  Under #7 it also states labor costs for inspection is not part of this warranty-however we went there for free and did not bill for the inspection.  Clearly, Bucky's has done more than fulfilled it's obligation. Also, [redacted] never took the time to complete the warranty with names, dates and times-which also voids the warranty.Again, Bucky's will not be held responsible for poor workmanship on behalf of [redacted] concrete failure!! Bucky's COATS CONCRETE-not REPAIRS CONCRETE!Thank you.[redacted]Bucky's Executive Flooring, LLC

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, if Bucky's does not follow through and call me to schedule an appointment in June or does not stand behind their warranty--further action will be taken.
