Dear Mr ***, we're sorry we couldn't come to a mutual agreement on this issueWe make every attempt to provide accurate descriptions on the vehicles we sell and we're apologize for the inconvenience

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: it still does not address to fact that Bud Clary Auto Group did not disclose the fact that they did not have a top even though it was listed in several different advertisements, I believe this is a breach in trust that gives auto dealers a bad nameThe dealership should have admitted a mistake was made instead of lying and stringing me along believing that they were looking into getting the top that was listed in their adsAparantly customer satisfaction is not on their list of prioritys when doing business with the general public
like I have said before I am not asking for a new top I would be satisfied with a decent used top that would fit my JeepI have priced new OEM tops and even at dealer cost it would be well over $There are good used OEM tops available for around $and that is what I am asking for.Sincerely,*** ***

We have a process in our finance department that the customer signs off on for any options, accessories or changes that we are making to the purchased vehicle. Customer did sign the form and nothing was promised or implied. Also we get the standard options that are shown in our website and the...

stickers from a third party source. We make every attempt to showcase correct information on both the website and stickers on our vehicles. We do have a disclaimer on our website  that explains that information is not always 100% accurate. What I can offer is to sell the top at wholesale cost. Thank you

Dear Mr [redacted], we're sorry we couldn't come to a mutual agreement on this issue. We make every attempt to provide accurate descriptions on the vehicles we sell and we're apologize for the inconvenience.

Review: I hate to post this about Discovery Ford.. it has recently been purchased by Bud Clary and is now Ford of Moses Lake. This is clearly the worst thing that could have happened to Moses Lake.I have had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with the Service Department and the new Service Manager, [redacted] on several occasions. Each time has been more and more tragic. The Service Managers may or may not have a good idea of whats going on, however clearly the name of the game is try to throw parts and labor at every problem and generate revenue. Several weeks ago my truck had to be towed to this dealership as it was totally dead. After a week of diagnosis I was told I needed to replace my High Pressure Pump, a Fuel Injector, and a Turbo Waste Gate. $4200 worth. When I asked if the truck was running now I was told it was not? When I asked how they made these determinations I was told it was a "guess". After meeting with the Service Manager and the General Manager it was determined that they would tear it down to the High Pressure Pump and we'd diagnose problem by problem from that point. As it turns out, I only needed a standpipe replaced. Total bill $1300. When I picked my truck up I was told everything else was functioning properly! HAThe truck runs like crap, and sometimes doesn't want to start when it's warm. Also, after their repairs I get a "limp" light that comes on while pulling my trailer uphills. PLUS it leaks oil.Today I had my truck back in for the service to look at these problems from their "repair". I was told I needed a new Oil Cooler and New Turbo Charger Vanes. ($3800) I had previously had my vehicle inspected at another dealership and was told something much different. To add insult to injury.. the Service Manager gives me a Ford Service Bulletin that CLEARLY states for vehicles with my vehicles symptoms to Clean the Oil Cooler with an Oil Cooler Kit and to NOT replace the Oil Cooler. And the SM tells me he can SMELL the oil leak but they could not find its not fixed!Desired Settlement: I want the Oil Cooler Serviced, and all the standpipes in the High Pressure System replaces, as well as a steam clean of the engine after they fix the oil leak.

Response:

Discovery Ford was sold to Ford of Moses Lake in July 2012, this complaint is with Ford of Moses Lake, part of the Bud Clary organization. BCML,LLC is the corporate name.

Purchased 2013 [redacted] from dealership. At 15000 the fuel pump went out. Assumed it would be a warranty issue. Dealership performed the work and then called to indicate that the problem was from impact damage. Inspected fuel pump and found small 1/4 inch ding above the crack. Possible road damage? Possible the dealership dropped the pump upon removal or scored it with a screwdriver. Offered to Pay labor parts and have them provide the parts at their costs. They refused saying that this solution was not a compromise since they would not make money on parts. This seemed totally unfair. They finally offered a 10% reduction in my bill which I refused. The final was a small parts discount. My treatment while courteous, left me feeling absolutely no support and dubious about their commitment to customers. It was not a fair resolution and I will avoid Bud Clary [redacted] in Moses Lake.

Review: I took my daughter to look at a car at the Honda Dealership in Moses Lake, Wa. My daughter is on a budget as she is a single mom with 2 children. We explained this to the salesman while we were looking at a car. My daughter really liked the car and was very interested in it. We told the salesman, [redacted], that the top amount she could afford was $180.00 a month as her income is very limited. After discussing her financial limits with Mr. [redacted], he went inside and checked her credit score and discussed it with his manager. He then came out and told us that if she could get her mother to co-sign, they could get her payments to $180.00 a month or very, very close. That evening my daughter had her mom fill out the on-line application form as a co-signer. My daughter, [redacted], was so excited about getting a new car within her budget. She has been worried about getting a used car because of possible mechanical problems she might have to deal with later on her own. The next day Mr. [redacted] called her and told her she had been approved and the payments would be $280.00 a month. He told her the payments were higher because she was a first time buyer. She talked to him for some time and he said he could get the payment down to $260.00 a month but that was as low as they could go. I called Mr. [redacted] and he wasn't available so I a left a message. When he returned my call, I was not available and my wife answered the phone. My wife, [redacted], spoke to him about change in the monthly payments after he had promised that he could get it down to $180.00 a month, or very close, if she had a co-signer. He argued with my wife for some time saying he didn't say that and that he really said, "I'll try my best to get the payments down to $180.00 a month". During the conversation with my wife, she caught him in another lie. Another dishonest salesman! My wife and I have been lied to by every car salesman we've ever talked to in the past, and are still dealing with 2 car dealers that have defrauded us.Desired Settlement: First of all, when are car dealerships going to have to take responsibility for their deceitfulness? Everyone I know hates buying a car because of the dishonesty and the fraudulent practices used by car dealerships. Basically, my daughter was promised a car payment of $180.00 or very, very close and that should be honored for the car she was looking at, a blue compact Honda "Fit" which was supposedly on sale at the time for $17,000.00 and would have been $19,000.00 after taxes and fees.

Response:

The customer came in looking to purchase a vehicle with a payment of $180. The

customer completed a credit application giving us permission to check her

credit. After reviewing the credit report we immediately discovered that

in order to qualify for a loan with a low enough interest rate and a long enough

term to reach the $180 payment, she would need a well qualified co-signer. She

indicated that her mother had strong credit and would be willing to co-sign.

Based on the information provided we were optimistic that we could get her

payments at or near the $180 per month range. Once we received the co-signer's

credit report we immediately recognized that it was not strong enough to

qualify for an interest rate nor loan term that would get their payments to $180

per month based on the co-signer's credit. They did, however, qualify for a loan

on the desired vehicle. We then provided the customer with options. They could

either pay a higher monthly payment for the vehicle of their choice, increase

their initial down payment to lower the monthly payments to $180 per month or

select a less expensive vehicle. The offer still stands. We would love to help

Review: On April 18th, 2013, I purchased a 2007 Honda Ridgeline from Bud Clary Ford/Honda Dealership in Moses, Lake, WA. I was told at the time of purchase that the car was mechanically inspected and that it was safe and good to drive. I noticed that there was a humming noise and was told that it was just the tires. After a few weeks the humming was constant and loud and there is a vibration in the car. I had the car looked at by two independent certified mechanics and they told me it is only going to be proved that it is the tires by removing the tires and replacing them or that it could be the front axle. Also, the mechanics told me to ask the dealership if the timing kit had ever been changed. I took the car to the dealer and their response was to offer me a front end alignment and a timing chain that I would have to pay to have installed at some other place. I am a single woman and purchased the car on their word that the car would be a good running car and most of all safe for me to drive. I paid $16,000.00 + tax and 2-year warranty and gap insurance. I cannot afford to put more money right away into what I thought was going to be a good running car. Thank you for the opportunity to have an advocate...I don't know where else to turn.Desired Settlement: I would like the humming and vibration fixed PROPERLY and wantto know when the timimg kit was last replaced; or I want a refund and they can have the car back.
