I am rejecting this response because:They do not explain that the sale is final and will not make any further p/u dates without charging another fee of $ Also, the general mgr left msgsbut never provided her cell to return her phone calls ...her excuse she would be in and out of meetings I wish I had reviewed YELP before using their services Not very complimentary, plus the same comment was made about the office mgrand her rudeness

This individual -Ken- appears very friendly & courteous at firstHowever, took three cancellations to attend appt, after which original quote doubled (and was just to say fridge requires almost $more to repair; no work done)Price raised again when asked for a receipt, which was promised via emailStill waiting for a receipt after promised timeline extended 3x, again with varying excusesAttempts to cajole & guilt trip customer for requiring receipt in a reasonable amount of timeIt is uncertain whether I will receive a receipt, but it is sure I would NEVER choose this service again

To Whom It May Concern,I am responding to the complaint filed against Eco Appliance Recycling.*** *** *** contacting us regarding the appliance pick up service we offerWe explain to all customers requesting our service that the fee is due at the time of booking and is nonrefundableEach
customer is also informed that the item must be placed on their driveway, up by their garage door, by 9am as our driver will be by between 9am & 5pmIt is also stated on our website (pic attached), and explained over the phone, that the fee is to the location, not per appliance*** explained that she could not place the refrigerator on the driveway but that it was in the garage and she would leave the garage door open for the driver to pick it upWe agreed to make the exception but informed her that the fee was for the trip to her location and that the driver would continue on with his route if for some reason he did not have access to the appliance.The day of Mrs*** ***'s scheduled pick up (Friday, July 15), my driver pulled up to her homeBoth garage doors were closed and no one was answering the doorMy driver tried to contact Mrs*** *** by phone and left a message when she did not answerMy driver then contacted our office and had our office manager try to contact Mrs*** ***, but left a message as well when she did not answerMy driver took a picture of the front of the house (attached) and continued on with his route.On Tuesday morning, July 19th, we received a call from Mrs*** *** stating that our driver never showed up to pick up her refrigeratorWhen our Office Manager explained that we had, Mrs*** *** began screaming at her and degrading herMrs*** *** demanded that we come back out to her home that day to pick up her refrigeratorOur Office Manager explained that we had already come out to her home as agreed and paid for, and that we would gladly schedule a new pick up for her at the rate of $Mrs*** *** continued to call our Office Manager names and demanded to speak to the ownerOur Office Manager then passed the phone to one of the owners, at which point Mrs*** *** continued to scream and use profanityShe became belligerent demanding that we prove our driver was thereShe also contacted our driver on his personal cellphone (the phone and number he used the day of the pick up to try and reach her) and screamed at him calling him a liarShe then called our office back and demanded that the other owner contact herI attempted more that times to contact Mrs*** *** that day but only received her voicemail to which I left multiple messages (acknowledged in the last e-mail).Our Office Manager e-mailed the picture taken by our driver to Mrs*** ***After a couple hours, we received a reply from Mrs*** *** stating that in fact we did show up for her pick up and that her husband was at fault (attached)She proceeded by asking, then demanding we come back out at no charge to pick up her refrigerator immediately.The next morning (Wednesday, July 20), Mrs*** *** called our office again yelling at our Office Manager, calling her incompetent and asking for an owner to call herI attempted to call her again, but again received her voicemailI left a message stating that due to her actions and treatment of my staff, we are no longer willing to offer our services to her and gave her the name and number of another company that could help herShe then called our office again, yelling, stating that she would write a bad review on Yelp (attached) and report us to the Revdex.com... Review: I CONTACTED ECO APPLIANCES TO HAVE MY REFRIGERATOR PICKED-UP AND PAID THE $25 DOLLARS REQUIRED. UNFORTUNATELY, MY SENIOR AGED HUSBAND FAILED TO KEEP THE GARAGE DOOR OPENED ON THE DAY SCHEDULED FOR P/U. I CALLED TO REARRANGE ANOTHER DATE AND IN ORDER TO DO SO I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $25 (WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND THEY EXPLAINED THEY DID NOT DO THAT AND THAT THIS POLICY WAS EXPLAINED AT THE INITIAL CONTACT AND ORDER....NOT. THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONTACT OF MANAGER IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE. I SHOULD HAVE REVIEWED THIS COMPANY PRIOR TO, BUT WAS ANXIOUS TO GET THE REFRIGERATOR OFF MY HANDS. SINCE MY EXPERIENCE, I HAVE REVIEWED OTHER CUSTOMERS POSTINGS AND THEY WERE QUITE NEGATIVE. SINCE CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE THE MAIN FOCUS, THEY FALL SHORT ON ALL LEVELS. BUYER BE AWARE!Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM THE Revdex.com AS TO HOW AND WHEN THEY WILL HANDLE THE COMPLAINT VIA MAIL.

To Whom It May Concern,I am responding to the complaint filed against Eco Appliance Recycling.

I called ECO Appliance Recycling in October 2015 to request the pickup of a refrigerator. The earliest date they were able to give me was November 23, 2015. Needless to say, they never showed up to make the pickup. I called them on November 24, 2015 to inquire as to why my pickup was not made. Unfortunately, I ended up having to leave a message on their answering machine asking why my scheduled pickup was not made. I left my name, address, phone number, and stated the reason for my call. So here we are on December 9, 2015 and still no pickup nor did anyone return my call. So, I called them to ask why my refrigerator had not been picked up and the young lady who answered the phone informed me that they do not schedule residential pickups on Mondays and became rude and argumentative. She rescheduled the pickup date to January 15, 2016 and then rudely hung up on me! This is by far one of the most unprofessional businesses I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. I rated this company one star because there are no options for a negative rating. My advice to you, STEER CLEAR OF ECO APPLIANCE RECYCLING AT ALL COSTS!
