I went to Budget Auto in December to have work done on my vehicle. I went to them because they told me it would be about $120 to fix my brake lines. At the end of it, it cost me $400 for them to rebuild my brake system. They went ahead and did my power steering without my consent and added another $60 to my expenses. 3 months later my brakes completely give out, endangering my family on a busy road. I messaged him hoping he would help me figure it out. It was VERY hard to get in touch with him and of course he said it had nothing to do with him and he would need a bunch more money. So I take it somewhere else only to find out the last person to do my brakes (budget auto) put something in my brake fluid to make my brakes give out! It hasn't even been 6 months, and my power steering just busted. He is a scam artist that takes advantage of people.
I've taken my car there to have the clutch replaced and I've had nothing but issues with it. He has lost parts to the car. Can't get it in or out of gear without issues if I can at all. The whole car shakes when starting off. I'm very upset with the service. I have called him just to be hung up on. Sent text messages just to be not answered. It's effecting my job. Transportation of my children. I'm tired of being taken advantage of. He has countless people's cars he works on and I seem to be the only one having issues as far as I know. I paid to have my car fixed properly. Not to have it keep affecting me. How do I get this issue taken care of.
Customer brought his mustang to us to have the clutch replaced with one he had supplied. The clutch he supplied to be installed was a high performance clutch. We performed the work as he asked, with no issues. He took the car and had no complaints. A couple days later he returned with the vehicle and asked to have the clutch cable replaced, again with one he supplied. He was informed that he really should replace the cable with one that is meant for a clutch the size of the one he had us install, but he chose to use what he had. We performed the work, again with no issues. We did receive a couple phone calls from home stating he was having problems. At that time I personally went to him, and adjusted the cable. More then once, at no charge. The problem is not with the installation of the parts or the quality of my work. Everything was installed properly on his vehicle. The problem is that the cable he chose to install in his vehicle is an adjustable one, and because of the size of the clutch, it keeps stretching the cable, and the cable keeps going out of adjustment. He was told that if he chose to use that cable this would happen, and he chose to go forward with the installation. This is of no fault of my shop or my quality of work.
