Review: If I could give less I would. After an hour wait time with two kids under 2 they call to tell me they're almost there. The owner assures me that two car seats can be secured in the tow truck and they can give us a ride home (40 minutes away). When they get there the car seats cannot be safely secured in the seats of the truck. At all. there was just not a way to do it. The drivers solution? Just HOLD my daughter because "I won't get in an accident" and with the other hand hold onto my sons seat. Going down I-5 at 70mph. No thank you. I ask if the owner of the truck could come secure the seats since he's said he's done it before. Nope. "Drive down to the shop and I'll show you". Nope. Not putting my kids in another unsafe vehicle. Wow. Then the tow truck driver demands payment up front because of "the way things are going". I have cash at home where its being towed or can call my husband for the credit card. They refuse to take card over phone and insist on cash before service is even provided. All I can say is wow. Wow. Three hours later in 100 degree weather I'm home safe thanks to another local towing company. Never use these unethical immoral people who run this company. Unreal. Absolutely unreal.Desired Settlement: An apology

Unfortunately we were unable to provide service to Mrs. [redacted] after she requested our service via her insurance carrier. We arrived within the estimated arrival time dispatch provided to the insurance company. Mrs. [redacted] was unable to securely fasten her two car seats in our tow truck, so she did not feel we could safely transport her and her family. We initially agreed we were able to accommodate car seats as our company has transported families with car seats many times before without complaints. In an effort to provide an alternative solution, our driver offered to transport Mrs. [redacted] and her family to our facility two miles away to change trucks before making the 40 mile drive to her home. Our drivers make an effort to obey all laws and drive the speed limit at all times. Our company usually does not require payment prior to service, and will gladly accept cash or credit card at the drop off location. For customer financial safety, we do not take credit card payments over the phone without written authorization. We gladly accept credit cards in person. This particular call was initiated by an insurance carrier, but due to the distance, her insurance did not cover the full charges. Since Mrs. [redacted] filed her complaint, we had the opportunity to speak to her directly, and agreed to verify child safety restraints for our trucks are in proper working order and have CHP provide training to our drivers to properly install child safety seats in our trucks. WE are very concerned with safely transporting customer and vehicles, and will not provide services if the situation doesn't seem safe.
