Sales person assured me the window covering would be at my house this week,now says next week--it will no longer be of use to meWhen I bought the blind I explained that I needed it essentially because my house was going on the market and gave her the date of when it was to be listed (April 10). She said the blind would arrive by APRIL 8. I also explained that I was leaving town on April 10, and there would be no one there, and she waved her hand and said "Oh it will definitely be there by then." When I called this morning she said it would not arrive until April 14 (when I will be out of town and 5 days after my house will be listed). I needed the blind essentially to show my house--if there was any chance it would not have been here by this time--which I explained and she assured me it would--I would not have ordered said blind. I now want a refund and to cancel the blind. The salesperson said there is a policy of no refunds. Neither their sales receipt or anything else they provided me with states this.Desired SettlementI want a refund for the blind because I no longer need it, since my house is being shown from April 10 on. I would like the $211.20 back. On March 31, we did sell a shade to our client who has posted the associated complaint. At the time we did tell our client that we "expected" based on the quote from our supplier to have the shade delivered sometime the week of April 7-11. We never promise a particular delivery date, as we are not the manufacturer or the shipper of the custom products we sell. Despite our supplier telling us the shade (which was being shipped to the clients home) should have been here between April 8-10, we were updated on April 9th that a delay due a shipping mistake would cause the delivery to push to approximately April 14. We have offered our client a 30% reduction in price due to the unexpected delay, and hope this adequately addresses the inconvenience. Consumer Response Thank you for your help. The business gave me a full refund as requested.
