This is the poorest excuse for a business that I have ever encountered. The owner has some severe issues and never intends to order or install your blinds. She takes your money and makes excuses about phone calls, emails and ordering of the blinds until you have to file criminal charges against her for stealing. Her business needs to be shut down. She has stolen thousands of dollars from good people. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Review: I ordered custom blinds and shutters for my home and have the receipt stating that I ordered 10 shutters and 2 blinds. The products were paid for in full at the time of the order. They were supposed to be delivered within 4 weeks. They were delivered in 8 weeks and when they were delivered, 3 of the shutters and 1 of the blinds was not delivered. The business owner claims that I told her to "wait" on one of the shutters and has no explanation for the other 2 shutters and 1 blind that were not delivered. She is now requesting that I pay here another large sum to get all my shutters and blinds that were on the initial order.Desired Settlement: Deliver and install the 4 pieces that were on my original order at the agreed upon and paid price.

Review: I ordered 12 Window Shutters, wrote them a check for the down payment on June 13,2013 in order for them to proceed to measure my windows and for them to start building my custom make shutters. I was told to expect delivery and installation 6 to 8 weeks. I have yet to see hide nor hair of said items. I made a call to them after 12 weeks went by. I waited 3 days before a call for returned to me, at that time I said told the shutters were to be delivered September 27. I have yet to see said items.I made a call to their office October 14, They have not returned my call.I am sick, old and full of pain, I have health problems and the stress that I am getting from them is getting to me.I don't know what to do. I want to know will I ever receive the shutters or my money so I can go on with rest of my life, what is left of it.Desired Settlement: One or the other, delivery of said Shutters or my down payment.

The [redacted] complaint - we installed and completed her job 100% on 11/8/2013. Her shutters originally came in damaged and took another 8 weeks to remake. They were custom shutters made in China so the delivery is 6-8 weeks. We did call her numerous times to inform her of the situation but there was no answering machine so we could not leave a message. She is an elderly lady and we even went by her house and knocked on the door to see if she was okay - no answer at her door either. We finally were able to set install once her out of state son got involved and contacted us.

Review: I had my shutters installed the beginning of last year. Budget Blinds has a no questions asked warranty. I started asking for them to come out and look at an issue with my blinds in July 2013. [redacted] asked me to send an "iphone photo" of my blinds. After looking at a the text photo she told me nothing could be done. That was already in violation of the advertising on the website. [redacted] would make appointments and never show up nor call. Not until I filed a complaint in September with Corporate Budget Blinds did [redacted] finally come to my house. She had lied to me about appointments and texts she said she had sent me. Even after the complaint she showed up an hour late for the appointment claiming there was a wreck on the freeway. Her first reaction to my install job was that it was terrible. One blind was broken. We all agreed that it was a bad job. I asked for refund because I had lost all confidence in [redacted] as to do what she said. She asked what will make me happy I said a refund. She said ok what credit card do I charge it back to and I will pick up your blinds. She left and then came back to my door on the phone and told me her lawyer said that she can't give me a refund. I continuously texted her after this and she told me to stop that it was now a legal matter. I tried to get her lawyer:s name but she never had an answer. On October 11 she asked me to call her so I did. She told me to give her a chance to make it right that she had been prideful. She also said that my refund would put her out of business. I have come to find out that this is probably a very untrue statement. I gave her another chance and she missed the first appointment and never heard from her. I wrote her a demand email and she finally came in december. She called a few days after the appointment and said that she ordered the blinds and they would be installed the week of January 12. I never heard from her again until I filed another complaint with the corporate Budget Blinds office.Desired Settlement: Full refund for all the blinds installed. Not only because she did not uphold the no questions ask warranty but because if anymore issues would arise I don't want repeat this again. There is, in my opionion, been a huge integrity and I want to be free of this company and their product.

Re: the [redacted] complaint. We have reordered the shutters for her and have had them in our warehouse since

February of 2014 waiting to install. We have called her 4 times and emailed her 5 times letting her know we had them in and wanted to set up a time to install. We have never heard from her since this complaint was filed. I do have copies of the emails I sent as well as pictures of all the shutters (boxed with her name on them) that I can send to you if you need them.
