Budget Blinds Serving South New Castle County

Review: After previous satisfactory purchases in 2010 ($3,091)I placed a small order 1/21/13 ($445) to complete the interior plantation shutters in my home. This last order was delivered 4/3/13, however I soon discovered that the louvers would not stay open. After several telephone calls and two visits, it was determined that the rod in one of the shutter panels was defective. [redacted] left after stating he thought he had a rod in his shop and would be back to replace it. After several more phone calls an associate was sent out and while attempting to fix the panel, he broke one of the louvers. He stated a new panel would have to be ordered from the factory. I confirmed this with [redacted] on July 30, 2013 and she said it would take about 4 weeks. I have called repeatedly to find out when this panel will be replaced, and my calls are never returned. In desperation I emailed [redacted] on Nov. 9, 2013 and received a return email from [redacted] two days later stating she understood my frustration and had left a voicemail some time ago (which we did not get). She stated [redacted] would have to do the repair and right now his schedule was about a week and a half out. I emailed [redacted] back on Nov. 11th and told her a week and a half would be fine since we were planning to be out of town, but would be back by then, and to please let me know the date and time to expect [redacted] I have heard nothing from anyone at Budget Blinds since then, even though I have called at least twice and sent another email on Dec. 3rd advising them I was going to file a complaint again them if they did not respond right away. No response has been received.Desired Settlement: I would like for the replacement panel to be installed in the shutter.
