If you are looking for a mechanic that is very good, but most important is honest and fair you have found him here with JohnOver the + years I have been dealing with John, always getting an honest fair repair to my vehiclesMore recently my daughter started to take her car, then her truck to JohnALWAYS getting the same high quality treatment and respect, a rare thing for a young woman to receive from a mechanicBUT the reason I am writing this is what happened last weekLast year my daughter has moved to Langley, last week her truck needed some repairs so she took it to the Chevy dealer in Langley, good idea I thought seeing it is a Chevy truckThe repair quote was in the range of $4,500.00, listing many needed repairs, including some new hoses, new water pump and brakes among other thingsShe was told that the brakes were at and 30%This cost was well out of her ability to payOh, she was also told that it was time to trade in her old truck for a new one! Distressed she called me after hearing all of this I suggested she give John a call and see if he could give us his opinionWell, John looked at the truck, found the hose that needed to be repaired was new, no need to be replaced, the water pump was just poorly installed and just needed to be installed correctly, it was new as well, and the brakes well they were and 90%When I talked to John, before he had even looked at the truck he told me that because he knew my daughter, and liked her he would be looking at the truck with the eyes of a father, and would repair it, as if my daughter was hisAs always I had told John to first make sure the truck was safe to drive, 2nd we would worry about the costAfter all this is my daughter! Well a day later my daughter picked up her truck fully repaired and safeAnd by the way the cost was Just over $including tax This is by far the best mechanic I have ever met! as well as being a great person Thank you, John! ALWAYS getting the same high quality treatment and respect, a rare thing for a young woman to receive from a mechanic. BUT the reason I am writing this is what happened last week. Last year my daughter has moved to Langley, last week her truck needed some repairs so she took it to the Chevy dealer in Langley, good idea I thought seeing it is a Chevy truck. This cost was well out of her ability to pay. Oh, she was also told that it was time to trade in her old truck for a new one! Well, John looked at the truck, found the hose that needed to be repaired was new, no need to be replaced, the water pump was just poorly installed and just needed to be installed correctly, it was new as well, and the brakes well they were 80 and 90%. When I talked to John, before he had even looked at the truck he told me that because he knew my daughter, and liked her he would be looking at the truck with the eyes of a father, and would repair it, as if my daughter was his. As always I had told John to first make sure the truck was safe to drive, 2nd we would worry about the cost. After all this is my daughter! Well a day later my daughter picked up her truck fully repaired and safe. And by the way the cost was Just over $400.00 including tax.
This is by far the best mechanic I have ever met! as well as being a great person.
