Review: Rented a Corvette, got a Camaro. Most important facts... they are two different price classes. [redacted] wanted me to pay the same price. Also long lines at the [redacted] location. I waited one hour in line. another half an hour to get my car. I called budgets 800 number before renting the car. they assured me that it would be the newest model Corvette. This is false advertising. Its been up on the website for a long time. The [redacted] said that they havent had a Corvette for over one year. I should get the car I rent or an upgrade which he was unwilling to do. The car I rented has issues. It is filthy inside. It has things hanging down under the dashboard (some type of gps or car locator?). The check engine light is on. it makes horrible noise when I go over a bump (left front tire). There are no other cars available for me to switch this car out for. waiting for 1 1/2 hours for a crappy broken down dirty car that I never rented, being treated rudely and unprofessionally by the [redacted] at the [redacted] location in manhattan (he offered me a hyundai for the same price as the corvette I rented!!!!) and wasting my friends travel money. Unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. My friend came down from Rhode Island to drive with me. This costed $$. I could have rented from another company and gotten the car I wanted. I still can do this if I can get a refund. I saved up my money to rent this exact car. I was promised this over the phone before renting. Really I want a full refund.
