Review: This firm was called upon by me to look into a water leak at a property located in [redacted] The request was to survey the situation and determine whether or not the water damage was beyond repair and to report back their findings. Instead they went ahead with trying to mitigate water damage in an area without my authorization and upon my inspection of the work determined that the area in fact needed to be completely disposed of and replaced. Upon bringing this up with my sales representative who was supposed to be the one inspecting the property he admitted to never making it to the property to determine how to proceed. Instead he sent the workers to perform work on the area of the home that had not been inspected. To that point I had used the firm without problem and offered to figure out some way to solve this indiscretion on their part. Initially this request was verbally agreed upon, however in practice I have been consistently emailed and in some cases called for full payment. Now they threaten a law suit against me when there is absolutely no evidence that this work was ever authorized. In the end I hired another contractor to completely refinish the area they supposedly fixed.Desired Settlement: The firm at this point should remove any charges from my account.
