Please be aware of fake reviews, the same photos of the pool in the review by Victoria below was used by a Torie in Yelp. Different person, different photos, different name, different reviews, same pool. They clearly pay people to offset the negative reviews. Don't fall victim like I did...Search the ROC by first and last name and see the qualifying party, Rex, previously owned a company that had three disciplined cases with the ROC and a Revoked License. STEER CLEAR of this company. I think since Rex took over this company went downhill. Poor workmanship, breaches of texted agreements, employees drinking on the job and leaving beer cans, kids cutting feet on uneven surfaces, gashes to the interior, stained grout, mismatched grout, splattering all over our yard, trying to increase prices after you agree to bid and pay, terrible decking job, false promises, just too much to list but I think our BBB complaint explains the worst of it: Description of Complaint: A dispute arose regarding the quality of work performed and Budget Pool Renovations placed an invalid and unlawful lien on our property. They were notified by our attorney that they were violating Arizona state law which requires a written and signed contract with the property owner in order to file a lien on an owner occupied property. They had no such signature or contract. Arizona state law also states that they have no longer than six months to enforce the lien which would force the home into foreclosure, they failed to do so because the lien was invalid and would have been thrown out in court. After their six months expired, by law, they lost their lien rights but they went down to the county and placed another invalid lien that is unlawful, groundless, and unenforceable. They are now engaging in paper terrorism and clouding the title to our primary residence which prevents us from selling or refinancing in order to bully us into paying for something we disagree with and that they refuse to fix. What they are doing is actually a criminal misdemeanor as well, next we will be looking into filing charges if possible.

We spent a LOT of time researching to find the best pool repair contractor. We researched on Revdex.com, Google and Yelp. We even checked with Home Advisor (and the companies they referred us to were wrought with bad reviews on Revdex.com or not even accredited at all). After researching and collecting estimates, we were most impressed with Budget Pool Repair and Replaster. Excellent reviews across the board in all 3 locations—and no complaints that had not been resolved—AND their price was SUBSTANTIALLY lower! First, the estimate guy-Rex—was most accommodating by coming on a Saturday morning to review our needs and we received his estimate promptly a couple of days later. After collecting several estimates, Budget was by far the best price, so we had the owner, Tony, come out to revise and fine tune our estimate according to our needs. What an awesome guy! How refreshing to be able to work with a contractor who is so organized, professional and downright a great guy! He knows his products and service well. We picked out our colors for tile, mini pebble and cool deck and installation of a hand rail. Work began the following week when Tony came by to drain the pool. Then chip out crew came next, followed by cool deck crew and tile crew; then resurface of the cool deck and pool interior; followed by cool deck paint, pool start up and hand rail install. It’s all finished now and looks absolutely gorgeous. It was fun, scary, interesting, and informative to watch the process. Tony even added some decorative tile work on the stairs, tanning shelf and bench. Every crew that came to our house was very professional and very respectful of our home and property. Every crew cleaned up after themselves and left things as tidy as they could. As a responsible and reasonable homeowner, please understand that when you engage in a home project like this that it is, by nature, a messy project—no way to get around that—and they can only clean up as much as they can. So, yes, as a homeowner, you can reasonably expect to take care of some minimal cleanup yourself (there may be some dust buildup in other parts of your yard from the chip out and grinding that happens depending how windy it was that day; you may have to rake back a minimal amount of landscaping rocks that were moved to avoid overspray on the rocks themselves, and if you are like us, your landscaper will take care of 90% of it). Tony came by personally to do a quality control check and verify that everything was working and back up again. The only negative thing for us is that it’s beginning of February and although the dog was quick to jump in already, we have to wait another 2 to 3 months to use it! LOL It’s been a privilege and pleasure to work with Tony and Budget Pool is the best company/contractor we could ever have hoped to work with on this project. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone! We will definitely use them for any other needs we have and when it’s eventually time to do this again (because it has to be done every 15-20 years), we pray that Budget is still around to do the work! We just could not be any happier with the quality of the work, professionalism of the teams involved, the price and Tony! Stop researching and reading all the other reviews and just call Budget—you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing company, amazing prices and a perfect job was done. They also beat all the other quotes we had.

Budget Pool’s cost estimate was about 1/3 less than the average of 3 other pool remodel companies. I’m always a little skeptical of a bid that low, so I spent a good deal of time discussing the processes that Budget would use to include the products they they would use. They were identical or better than their competition in all these areas. So then the question becomes, “can they deliver a quality product in an appropriate timeframe.” They said they could do my remodel in 3 weeks and completed it in 19 days. The crew was polite, always cleaned up at the end of the day and things moved along nicely. During the job I had a couple of questions on various aspects of the remodel and *** (the owner of the company) responded immediately. When the project was completed, Tony came to the pool and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. If I ever do a pool remodel again I’ll do it with Budget Pools.

We are new to the area and purchased a home in Mesa that needed some TLC, including resurface of pool. With no one to make recommendations for the job, I contacted 6 pool companies to match bids. *** with Budget was one of the people who came out & gave us an estimate. Not only was his bid the lowest, but he was also the most informative about the process. When hired, he started the job on the day promised, and was finished early. He even repaired some things he saw without charging us. We could not be happier with the quality of his work & the price. I would be more than glad to personally recommend him to anyone who wishes to contact me, and even supply photos.

Fantastic from the start to finish! Tony and his crew were awesome. He was always there when I had questions and wanted a few items added to the job. After checking out all the other pool companies, I had my doubts about Budgets low prices? I am so happy I picked this company!
If you use the other guys than you are just throwing your money away! I have since told all my friends about them and how great my experience has been with them.

I was extremely nervous about spending so much money to re-do my pool. Tony’s confidence, timeliness and expertise reassured me every step of the way. My pool went from 1971 to 2018 in about 2.5 weeks and I am more impressed and happy with the results than I thought I would be!!

We used Budget Pool Repair for our pool in May 2018 to upgrade to Pebble Tech, repair/clean loose tiles, and resurface our deck with Kookdec. Although we were referred to BPR by a friend, we called for 3 quotes and Tony's quote was the lowest. He was very professional, gave us estimate of start time and finish time and finished the job on time with quality exceeding our expectation. Now our pool is beautiful and ready for summer splash. We HIGHLY recommend Budget Pool Repair.

our pool was in disrepair, needed plaster, water line tile, cool deck, coping tile regrouted and a new light. tony and his crews did a fantastic job, I couldn't be more pleased. everyone was professional and on time.. great job. Just had my pebble tec spool resurfaced and it looks absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Budget Pool Repair. Tony and his crew were very professional and efficient. Tony was very responsive and answered all questions in a timely fashion. His price was excellent and the job was completed in the two weeks quoted.
