I took the wheel to tire discounters and they sold me a used tire and balanced and cleaned my rim for $and gave me a day money back garentee and all of what she said is a LIEAND I have a video of the tire and rim

Hello I am responding to a complaint that ** *** has filed against my business
"">** *** purchased a used tire for his truck, during installation of this tire on his rim he was informed that his rim had mass corrosion on it and to ensure a proper seal it really needs cleaned (sanded down)He didn't have time for that on the day of installation so I told him if it goes down to come back and have the rim cleanedI supplied ** *** a receipt that covers the tire he purchased from us for 30days, it does not cover cleaning his rim or the valve stem that was installed in his rimHe returned days later with his receipt and stated that his tire went down, after checking his tire and rim in water to determine where the leak was coming from we informed him that his rim needed cleaned so that it wouldn't continue to cause him any problems** *** was not pleased when he was informed that his warranty didn't cover the cleaning of his rim and there would be an additional charge for this necessary service, he began to get loud and curse at the tire tech on duty, becoming more aggressive when he was told that he could not have the manager/owners personal phone numberThe tire tech sealed both sides of the tire with tire sealer to try and stop the leak as much as possible since he didn't want to pay for the cleaning of the rim, after sealing the tire the tech approached the vehicle to reinstall it** *** was standing over the tech verbally harassing him and the tech then instructed ** *** to get into the vehicle for the techs safety and concern that ** *** may become physically violent towards the him while his back was turned towards him.** *** purchased a used tire which only comes with free mount on the rim,free installation on the vehicle and a 30day warranty on the tire itselfIf ** *** would have purchased a new tire he would have received free mount, free balance, free valve stem, free disposal of his old tire, free rotation and free rim cleaning if necessaryWe cannot offer all of these extra free services on used tires, there for they are an additional charge when needed or requested by the customerWe have been in business for many years and have several locations, we can not change policy and pricing of services just because a customer feels they shouldn't pay for a service that is necessary to ensure proper performance of their tiresWe try our very best to please every customer, sometimes it is impossible when the customer refuses to pay for a needed service, it is very unfortunate that ** *** had rim issues but that would have been a issue where ever he would have taken his tire to get serviced if he refused to pay for his rim to be cleaned.Any other questions please feel free to contact meBest Regards,*** ***
