Budget Truck Rental

I was supposed to get the truck at 9am but didn't get it until after noon. The next day the truck broke down and was told I would get 2 free days. I make the 900 mile move. Because of the break down we missed our movers. So, we went to unload and everything inside is wet. I called Budget and was told I would have to close the account out and file a claim. I took the truck back and had to pay for the extra days the truck we broke down.. I called Budget again this time I was told I should have filed a claim first then closed the account. This truck alone ended up costing me over 1100 dollars all together. Now, our wet stuff is in storage so my wife and I can sort through it. I get the run around on the phone and no one calls back. I feel like we paid for Budget to ruin our stuff, a broke down truck, give us the run around, and to make this move a nightmare. My family will never use Budget Rentals again. I will tell anyone who plans on moving to never use them unless they do not value their money or personal stuff.
