I very recently ordered a plush for my brother on Budsies website.
All I can tell is I was very pleased with their services. The plush was looking great, in accordance to the drawings I sent. My brother was really happy.
Their customer service is also great, they respond quite fast and try to do their best.
I ordered a custom stuffed animal from my son's artwork for his birthday on Jan2, It is May 5, and I have still not received anything No one answers their customer service line Its a recording that directs you to email them and then it hangs up I paid $ Never received the product I ordered and I have not been issued a refundBelow is the last email I sent "Budsies, It has been months since I ordered This is borderline ridiculousMy child doesn't even remember drawing his picture anymore What in the world is going on with my order? I was very excited to order a Selfie from Budsies of my children for Mothers Day Unfortunately, the process failed me While delivered on time, the selfie in my opinion was subpar as it did had several flaws that I presented to the company who said they'd kindly remake the Selfie at a discounted rate of $ This is after I had already spent $on the original Buyer beware that there is no proof during the process or input on the final product other than the initial order form, so once you click submit, what you get is what you're stuck with even if there are clear flaws I have two children who would probably love to have their drawings come to life someday, but the handling of this situation has persuaded me to avoid doing future transactions with Budsies
Budsies is a great service - they will take any drawing and turn it into a plush toyWhile most people probably utilize it for their children, I used Budsies for making Christmas presents for my friends and familyThe setup process was extremely easy, all through their website: just upload, give them a bit of description about the drawing, pay, and doneThe wait was a bit long, but not really when you consider that each one is individually made and I had ordered five, so it was an understandable length of time and worth the wait (and I had given more than enough time to make sure they were ready for Christmas, anyway)
I'm definitely recommending Busdies to any of my friends and family who have kids that may enjoy this service:)

The problem arises after Budsies has your money The promises of 'item in production' and 'item was ready to ship but we wanted to make a few changes to make it perfect' became old quickly Months later I requested a refund since my son's birthday had long since come and gone which was refused by Budsies Thankfully, I paid through Paypal and was able to file a claim through them and was able to recover my payment
If you are willing to risk doing business with Budsies I highly recommend you pay using a credit card or Paypal so you have a recourse if your experience is the same as mine Also, there are other choices if you want a custom plush pet made
Defective product. Horrible customer service/satisfication.
Product not as ordered then coming apart after 2 weeks.

I sent a frame of an animated music video my boyfriend had made, and Budsies made with care and talent this beautiful orange stuffed fox with a striped tie and a curvy tail... It's incredibly alike the original picture. I got messages keeping me posted at every step, and we got the Budsie by mail this week. We're so satisfied!!! Thank you so much for your work...
My daughter drew her own character, and sent it to this company. She was able to follow the directions and I was able to pay for it online. They shipped us a plush doll that looks just like her picture. I can't even explain the excitement our whole family experienced when we opened up the package. It was so amazing and my daughter can't put it down. We will definitely order from this company again. I may give gifts this way. It's unique, personal, and made well.
I don't know if anyone will be reading this, but all I can say is that the company did a wonderful job on my budsie doll. I post a pic, if my phone would work better, but all I can honestly say is. That from the smallist little detail to the most difficult parts of my doll, they made it all. I can t say how happy I am with my project and I am a pretty picky person. So these guys did a wonderful job. I know you all did hands on and I am so happy with every artist that had worked on makeing me this doll. Best 100$ I ever spent. You guys are amazing I recomend this to all my friends and will be ordering again. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
The Budsie we ordered looked exactly like the picture my granddaughter drew. It is high quality and done exactly to scedule. And I was informed of the progress of our Budsie every step of the way. I have one happy granddaughter.
I have just placed an order for my THIRD purchase from Budsies. I am thrilled with their workmanship and their ability to reproduce what I send them. My grandson was overjoyed with his Budsies at Christmas. Budsies became my Santa for him.
