Buehler Moving and Storage is sincerely sorry for the problems the customer has reported regarding the damages and lose to her goods There were two separate service crews that were involved with the disputed service, we have independently spoke to both crews on their specific areaSince some
of the written complaint was directed to our packing service and some to the load/delivery service, but it has been investigatedAt this time, we are in the process of settling the claim and performing the repairs on those items that can be repaired to pre-move condition. The research has provided me some feedback that is inconsistent with the customers statement in her previous email, which I will address in the near futureAs we have been trying to address the repair matters to get those services plannedHowever, our finds at this point do not support the level of missing or damaged items as noted and our staff has assured me that some of the other allegations are also not accurateWe will continue to move forward with our claim settlement process, in any effort to resolve this matter in the most timely manner possible

The services were originally set up for two men and a truck, but after talking with *** you both determined the items were too big/heavy to be handled by two men, so a change to four men was made, but not requotedThe extra time is addressed below in my adjustment, but your original charge of $can not be honored as it took more resources to complete the service

I am mildly amused by this "response." It's comical that one could think it would be sufficient to cut and paste two emails that lack the necessary context or substanceThe issues is that this company provides quotes for services, then does not deliver on those services due to their own internal issues, and then will add insult to injury by charging additional funds for their mistakesI feel comfortable generalizing based on my individual experience because unfortunately my experience was not uniqueI am taking my time to add to this growing narrative about this unethical company in order to help others avoid experiencing a similar experience that we were so unfortunate to have had

I am rejecting this response because:the business has repeatedly called me a liar, including indicating that there are inconsistencies in my claims.  It is obvious by the number of items damaged alone that the company and it's employees are careless in their work-- they damaged nearly every piece of hard furniture they moved and scratched numerous surfaces in my home -- to include walls, doors and flooring-- as well as broke a piece off of my fireplace.  The only damage the movers copped to at the time was breaking my desk in half- though it happened within 30 minutes of them arriving, they didn't mention it until they were getting ready to leave the drop off location-- while all other damage seemed to have attempted to be hidden.  These people damaged $1000's worth of furniture and property, lost $1000's worth of property... Of course they aren't going to admit it.....

The claim settlement has been paid as of approx. three weeks ago, to the best of my knowledge the customer has received the check.As we did have some delay on getting the check issued and released, we had several discussion with the customer to advise them that there was some unexpected delays to...

issuing his check.Again, an unfortunate set of circumstances caused the delay, which I must again apologies for on behalf of the company, as we make every effort to meet our time frames reflected in the letter the customer received.
