When arrived to hotel, they gave us the wrong room which should have a suit. Do to their mistake, I left my phone there by mistake do to the unloading of luggage from my car. I noticed my phone was missing and remembered that I left it on the counter. I had my wife call the front desk which they said the room was booked up. They said they would check after occupitants left. I had walked to the car and front desk while wife was speaking to front desk. I was advised by the front desk clerk to go up to the room and ask politely if they would see if the phone was there bc I told him the phone location was pinging from there. So I did but then them seem to have gotten offended and said I had the wrong which I knew I didn't. I called it with the wife's phone and I heard the customize ring tone I had. I left bc I didn't want upset them. Well story short while I was walking back to my room, the staff was already treating my wife with calling the Orange County police. I was going to just leave but it was my 8 year old daughters birthday and didn't want to ruin it. I had just gotten back from an 8 month deployment overseas and have a lot of catching up to do. I believe since I was Latin American and the occupitants were Caucasian, they took their word even though I am active duty military Air Force and take my professionalism very serious. They should pay for my $1000 phone at least
